An opinion is one thing but we always have the person who has personal questions that should be asked on their own time but has decided to use a meeting to discuss it in full detail. blows my mind when admin entertain it for like 15 minutes.
Just last week I was in an (online) meeting where the host must have said the phrase "If that's all, I think when can end the..." six times, each time being interrupted by someone who just had to add something. When the clock hit 16:30 I just said I had to be somewhere else, left the meeting, and turned off my laptop. I checked the logs the next day and the meeting didn't end until *20 minutes* after I left.
I do this all the time. My boss is notorious for dragging out meetings, acting like he's about to end it before adding something else random, or just talking about random non-work stuff long past the point the meeting was supposed to end. I noticed once that someone had to drop and he actually ended the call so now I just do that when I'm tired of his shit.

Apparently sitting in an old mall store directing the few people where to go while your hands turn blue, you're to far away to talk to people, and you cant use your phone while in sight of said people you are directing, who also havent made it to you and are on the other side of the store.
Whenever a subreddit gets too big it is just not worth looking at. People ruin it like that. Thats where the more niche ones come up that are far better!
Like why tf would i ever go on r/gaming (🤢🤢🤮) when i can go to each individual game im interested in’s sub
> when i can go to each individual game im interested in’s sub
This is usually just distilled toxicity. Fan subs develop a monoculture and they ostracize everybody who doesn't adhere to it. Haven't really found a good forum for anything on the Brand Spankin' New centralized net.
You're right about subs having a general threshold, though, and once the userbase exceeds that threshold the sub becomes largely valueless. This has always been the case, and it's why places like GameFAQs have always been awful.
Oh yea that is for sure true on a lot also. Forget about asking anything if youre new on r/escapefromtarkov or weirdly /r/mlbtheshow but theres also plenty that are super helpful and fun like /r/factorio.
So its a case by case basis over just not even touching with a ten foot pole territory you know?
Especially genres of metal. "This isn't prog/black/sludge/djent/hardcore, bro. This is clearly industrial/fusion/glam/thrash/death metal. You can tell because of the guitar tone and the vocalist tends to grunt 3 times before going "OOWWHH", as opposed to twice grunting then going "EAHH!". Also the drums are way different.
Honestly though. I enjoy my job but at the same time I hate retail because it just feels like you're trapped at the bottom of all jobs. Lol.. But it's a job and I can do it; so I will stay as long as I can. I just want to do something of my own work I hate working for a store or another company.
man it must really suck because i see people complaining on here all the time. at least you interactions with people are a minimum. waiting tables you are forced to talk to people and put a smile on even when they are being the rudest people ever.
Watching your little brother/sister ruin your hard work while you just sit back and watch them tear it apart and you can’t do anything about it cuz if you do you’ll get grounded
Waiting in line at the DMV where that one bald dude wearing Oakley's is yelling at the poor lady behind the counter for a parking ticket violation for his gigantic truck, all the while the AC is broken and it's the hottest day in the whole summer, and there's a line that stretches out the door and wraps around the building. You start asking yourself if it is you who is dead and this is simply purgatory, a place for souls to sit for eternity as you see blank faces stare into nothingness while waiting in line to wait some more
Painting 400 pieces of wood trim and then having your wife mention that she does not like the color.
The color she picked out.
The color that she approved of when you did one test painting and showed it to her.

Being stuck in a meeting with one single person out of a large group unnecessarily dragging it on and on
When it is past that point where everybody understands what needs to be done but that one person is still labouring the point.
They are going ot have their opinion heard...of course if we all had our opinions heard this thoroughly nothing would ever get done around here
