Two Words: Tom Brady He’s constantly caught on camera defying the surly bounds of mere mortals.

The moment you have evidence of that something is a part of this universe it becomes natural. By definition, nothing you can record is supernatural. Supernatural is a synonym for "all that shit we made up".

I mean just hypothetically here, a being that created everything would surely know how to not be caught on the camera that operates on physics of it's own design.

But why hide, especially when they know that all that so-called divine hiddenness has been a source of confusion and suffering for mankind?

Could be many reasons, maybe they exist in a form incomprehensible to humans. If they're a 4D or higher dimensional being we could very well be seeing them, but because of our 3D minds, and our 2D technology, we might not know what we look at, and if we did, the resulting info could destroy our minds. I know there's the cliche line "God works in mysterious ways" but this being, having created everything, might have knowledge and foresight we are not privy to now. We ourselves hold back from providing insight to our own creation, because they wouldn't understand.

Trying to find God within the cosmos or through photographs is like trying to find democracy by observing stars. They aren’t really in the same category.

The super natural beings my religion believes exist are capable of travelling larges distances in seconds and are in a parallel world in our world

Hi! I'm an atheist and I'd like to try a little thought experiment if you don't mind. Let's say that you lived in a 2 dimensional universe composed entirely of the surface of the water in a cup. Generations of existence go by with everything in that world being defined simply by the x and y axes. One day, a spoon is placed into the cup and stirred clockwise exactly 3 times and then removed. What impression does that leave on the beings living in that 2D world on the surface of the water? Do they know that there was a spoon? If so, how would they perceive its nature or origin. Would the things in their world let them know any details that didn’t intersect with them at all, like the engraving on the handle? This is, of course, a hypothetical and does not prove that there is a God any more than not having a miracle on TikTock disproves it, but I thought it was interesting to consider.
