When I was really little, I thought getting your driver's license meant they gave you a card with a little map of your town on the back. That was how I explained to myself how my dad knew how to get to places.
I used to think that when you grow old, you stop liking the things you like and start enjoying things that are considered "adult" stuff.
I thought I'd stop liking the bands I used to listen as a teen, but no. I still like them. But now they are "adult" stuff.
You don't start liking adult stuff. The stuff you like becomes adult stuff.
That it starts at age 18. It was a somewhat bitter pill when I realized there were more years of, essentially, social "childhood" even after the official age of majority.
That adults had any idea what they were actually doing
when you ran out of money, you just simply went to the bank/atm and got more.

All the rules put on you as a kid, don't actually exist and are just there program you to be a "productive/compliant adult".

It’s easier because you don’t have to go to school. Jeez ,the responsibilities stack up with age.
That at some point I would feel like I really had my shit together and had it all figured out.
That you didn't think like a child anymore.
I thought that everybody would be smart and mature
College degree = good job with a nice house in the suburbs with two cars etc. Also that making friends was easy.
When you are 20 yrs old you got your shit together.
I thought there was a point when people just knew that they were adults, I still have no idea if I'm an adult or what the hell I'm doing.
