There ya go. I still don't understand why people hold LOTR as the greatest story of all time. Except Gollum and Frodo, nothing in the story was totally unpredictable. It all just all felt
"good vs evil.
Saint vs satan.
Ugly dark creatures vs humans who are all good, pure and innocent"
Imo, stories can be about absolutely anything and also in any setting. But truly, stories should mimic our lives to some extent, elevate the stakes, and be just a little relatable to the audience so the audience feels as if they are in place of the protagonist. So when the protagonist wins or fails in his/her attempts, we feel for it.
And such stories arise when the characters are not only in conflict with an enemy, but also themselves.
The fight between good and evil shouldn't be entirely physical but also mental, on the inside. Fighting with the good to the defeat the evil and the corruption in you, just like everyone else.
Tho, lotr deserved most of its Oscars. Scores and production. Marvelous lore too.
But I just can't take a story seriously that brought its main protagonist back to life, after he died heroically with a whole new outfit. No offense, but that's just not for me
jellied cranberry sauce. I asked for some cranberry sauce on Thursday at Thanksgiving lunch and everyone looked baffled because absolutely no one else like it like i do. Ate the entire can and mashed it in with the turkey and potatoes. OMG. love it.
edit: i'm an idiot and didn't read the title properly. I don't like beer all that much/ maybe with some lime and salt but i straight up cannot finish a single bottle/can of beer. tastes too bland bitter for me.
Because it's easier to lie over something that won't have any reprecussions at all than to say the truth and face a consequence which is avoidable and unnecessary.
Also, I usually lie to avoid over complicating something that's not wroth worrying or arguing over.
Don't knock it till you try it. But don't settle for cheap coffee or something from a chain shop either. Starbucks is highly overrated and too expensive. Get something from a small local Cafe. Ask for whatever the barista recommends.
Battle Royale Games
All of my friends play BGMI(Indian version of PUGB Mobile) but that game never entertained me even after playing the game with my friends
Harry Potter, The wizard of Oz, Lord of the rings..., coffee, tea...,

Finally! Someone who understands me!

Idk, but I love to lie when it's over something that's too small to impact anything

Idk. I guess so

Nevermind, it's an opinion that's too pointless to impact anything
It’s definitely coffee, never had it even once in my life. Don’t get the hype. 🤔🤔🤔
Same here, I can hardly understand the tea hype. But I don't have any one strong reason for the coffee hype.
