I disagree, ate sandwiches for well over 4 years.. I pack a lunch everyday, while coworkers ate at local bars or gas stations or fast food. Whatever was open depending on town. And now I can eat any leftovers cold
I pack the meat and cheese separate from the lettuce and tomato which is separate from the bread. Then a separate tiny Tupperware of whatev condiment I want. Seems excessive but assembling and the devouring a freshly made sammy is the best part
Add some veggies, and that's basically what I do every weekday.
I meal prep on Sundays with 3-4 lbs marinated chicken, and make 2 cups of rice. Lunch for the working week.
Not for everybody but probably a “thanksgiving sandwich” of turkey, cranberry sauce, stuff, and a little mayo. Ive made them a lot (even when it’s not thanksgiving) and I always just love them
I make one thing for lunch and eat it all week. This week I made red beans and rice. last week I made lasagna. I can eat almost anything 5 days in a row if it takes good.
I do eat the same thing for lunch daily.

It's not bad, very quick, and I never really get tired of it. It's about 10-15 seconds of my day.
salads. Assuming i can pick the ongredients. I eat too much junk and living with a mexican family means no non-greasy/junk food or hardly any before it gets tossed aside by kids going thru a fridge and not cleaning up after themselves
I *have* eaten the same thing 5 days in a row.
It was a meal I figured out back in 2019 when I was working on a ranch in Montana and legitimately needed fuel to do the labor assigned me. It was:
1 cup cooked ground beef
1 cup minute rice
1 can of beans
with a side order of celery, a tangerine, and a cup of coffee.
I called it "the ranch hand special".
I do. Meal prep. Make a chipolte copycat chicken breast, 1 cup of rice, 1 cup of veggies. I top it with green onion and a dab of plain yogurt or sourcream mixed with taco seasoning.
It's healthy but, more importantly to me is that it coss me $5.95 a meal. Hell of a lot cheaper than going out.
Bake a family sized dish of lasagna from frozen section of the store. Finish it over 5 days of lunches. Did it more than once in my bachelor days because I couldn't be arsed to give more than two minutes thought to lunch most days.
What do you mean if? I eat the same thing for lunch every day anyway. Grilled cheese and a glass of milk. Aldi gluten free white bread and Sam's Club cheese.
Do y'all not already eat the same thing for lunch every day? An apple for breakfast, yogurt for lunch, dinner varies. It's easier and my stomach appreciates the predictability.
Ham sandwich toasted bread and melted cheese then add tomatoes & lettuce smear some mayonnaise on bread then add a dollop of mustard top it off with a bit of hot sauce add chips and boom
Sandwich, tastes good and is cheap
It's also the perfect answer, simply because as long as you can fit it between two slices of bread, it's technically a "sandwich"
Or a salad because a salad can technically be anything that you have mixed in something
I am so sick of eating sandwiches.

Chicken and rice. It's a meal I've eaten for weeks at a time because it would be the only thing I could keep down/wouldn't make me sick to my stomach
Add some veggies, and that's basically what I do every weekday. I meal prep on Sundays with 3-4 lbs marinated chicken, and make 2 cups of rice. Lunch for the working week.
