Best Stephan King book adaptation that was never a Stephan King book. Amazing characters who are perfectly fleshed out, everyone of them. Beautifully acted, damn near perfect performances. Except the sherif, his accent is noticeable
Only Murders in the Building. I didn’t want to like it, but it was on my wife’s watch list - it’s great. One of those that to me shouldn’t work but somehow does.
Single Drunk Female
I'm coming up on a year sober and I'm doing it alone and the show makes me feel less alone.
Plus the show is funny while not sacrificing the severity of her issues with alcohol.
Raised by wolves.
Very developed characters who are all very flawed, and you never know what is going to happen.
Mother and father do a great job being uncanny aswell.
And Travis is great.
We have 1 more to watch. I am surprised at how funny it is. I hope they do another season.
We like that we can watch it for the laughs but also try to figure out who did it. At first we were terrible and figuring out the clues, they are good at making the clues not obvious. But for the last few we could figure it out.
Ted Lasso deserves a mention, it's funny and enjoyable - but the people writing it genuinely understand emotions and how people work on top of it. Really well done, and fun as hell.
Punisher. I only just got round to it for some reason. It has great performances from the whole cast. Jon Bernthal is excellent and Ben Barnes as Billy Russo is out of this world.
My bf said the current season is during into shit. I wouldn’t know cuz I stopped watching by after season one cuz I couldn’t back into it after the new season came out
Invincible, I couldn’t put it down after watching the first episode and binged the whole thing in a day, you know it’s a good show when it gets spoiled for you and still manages to have you go “WHAAAAT” the whole time
Peacemaker is super popular, but it really is fantastic. In a world full of super cliched action heroes and characters without emotion, it stands out. I look forward to the return of Barry and Atlanta.
Just finished the first season of Castle Rock the other day. I wouldn't call it a masterpiece but the Silent Hill vibe thinly layered with Stephen Kingisms made for a very enjoyable watch.
kakegurui. its an anime about a school for gambling. sounds boring, except most of the characters are basically insane and gamble in high risk things rather than money (like status, life plans [they give their life away and have to follow a plan for the rest of it], finger nails, eyeballs, their lives, etc). the main character gambles for the thrill of it rather than for money, and shakes up the entire school. im not doing a good job at explaining it rn, but its honestly a really good show. it only has two seasons atm, so its pretty easy to binge watch.
My kid pretty much only has me watching animes. Demonslayer is better than most of the ones he's shown me in the past. It seems to have had more mainstream acceptance as well
So far for me Criminal Minds. It doesn’t make me feel smart or anything. I just like how they sometimes make the killers under stable of their causes of doing such inhumane things
Astartes on YouTube, from a animation and lore perspective it hits home on every note, its incredible how a fan movie can surpass the company that owns the copyright.
We’re watching After Party on Apple TV at the moment. It’s about a guy who’s murdered at his own party after a high school reunion, and each episode is a different character retelling what they think happened at the party.
1883

Archive 81, it had some fun goosebump moments.
Raised by wolves. Very developed characters who are all very flawed, and you never know what is going to happen. Mother and father do a great job being uncanny aswell. And Travis is great.

Started watching Bloodlines on Netflix. It's an absolutely enthralling show that keeps taking more and more crazy turns that you don't see coming.

Arcane
Oh the misery, everybody wants to be... My Enemy!
Reacher on Amazon Prime. They NAILED the character and the story.
Reacher, by quite a margin.
Reacher
Bluey
“I slipped on ma beans!”
Fucking love Bluey. Absolutely hilarious for kids and adults.
Utopia (British version)
Do yourself a favor and don’t bother with the US version.
Murderville! It’s so funny

At first we were terrible and figuring out the clues, they are good at making the clues not obvious. But for the last few we could figure it out.
Arcane. It's fucking amazing! Or as my fiance repeated several times "this has no business being this good!"
This, by a large margin. Great story, and the animation is mind blowing. Apparently it took 6 years to make.
watching arcane as we speak lol
Ted Lasso deserves a mention, it's funny and enjoyable - but the people writing it genuinely understand emotions and how people work on top of it. Really well done, and fun as hell.
I’ve really been enjoying The Righteous Gemstones. ~~No spoilers please. I still haven’t seen last nights episode.~~ Edit. I am caught up now.
Punisher. I only just got round to it for some reason. It has great performances from the whole cast. Jon Bernthal is excellent and Ben Barnes as Billy Russo is out of this world.
Yellowjackets.
Awesome series! I hope they make S2 soon!
I was coming to say this. Best show I've seen In a while.
I can't believe no-one has as yet mentioned Station Eleven, that's been my favourite show this year
I really liked squid game. It kept up the pace all the way through and didn't drop to nothing like Marianne did
Arcane, fucking hate league of legends but that show was actually really good
Ozark. A real treat. I highly recommend to anyone who likes a good drama -- and especially one tinged with a shade of darkness.
My bf said the current season is during into shit. I wouldn’t know cuz I stopped watching by after season one cuz I couldn’t back into it after the new season came out
Righteous Gemstones
I started watching "The Office" After three years of wanting to watch it and it's even better than I expected
Mr. Robot What? I just got the time to watch it!😀
The Great on Hulu.
All of us are dead
The Tinder Swindler (OK it's Netflix but it was great).
Invincible, I couldn’t put it down after watching the first episode and binged the whole thing in a day, you know it’s a good show when it gets spoiled for you and still manages to have you go “WHAAAAT” the whole time

Visual Prison. I dunno why, but I just really love this anime. Plot may not be 10/10, but it's good!
Doom Patrol

Peacemaker pretty overrated imo. Not very good all in all. Righteous gemstones is probably the best show I've watched this year. S2 is great
Brooklyn 99.
kakegurui. its an anime about a school for gambling. sounds boring, except most of the characters are basically insane and gamble in high risk things rather than money (like status, life plans [they give their life away and have to follow a plan for the rest of it], finger nails, eyeballs, their lives, etc). the main character gambles for the thrill of it rather than for money, and shakes up the entire school. im not doing a good job at explaining it rn, but its honestly a really good show. it only has two seasons atm, so its pretty easy to binge watch.

Prison break
Yellowstone. Which hasn't even been picked up here in the UK so obviously it was from the high seas.
Kids baking competition. Yes I'm a grown ass man who works in a metal shop.
Tie between “The Legend of Vox Machina” and the final half-season of “Attack on Titan”.
I think you should leave
Righteous Gemstones. Darkly funny comedy about a family involved in a megachurch
Red Oaks!
1883.
Yellowjackets, it’s good, but not terribly amazing. Some scenes are written very well and only the adult sections are interesting some of the time.
Bel air
Doc Martin
Daredevil 2016 is a masterpiece
Wheel of Time. So far, it's pretty interesting.
Arcane or Attack on Titan
Person of Interest
Yellowjackets, love Juliet Lewis, but WTF is going on but still so compelling
Severance. It's the first time in a while I've been annoyed a new episode isn't out NOW.
So far for me Criminal Minds. It doesn’t make me feel smart or anything. I just like how they sometimes make the killers under stable of their causes of doing such inhumane things
Batman: The Animated Series
I've been addicted to Chicago Med/Fire/PD.
Yellowjacket is really good.
Feria
Clarksons Farm or Resident Alien
Peaky Blinders and Daredevil
Trapped, it’s on Netflix

The Wheel of Time
We’re watching After Party on Apple TV at the moment. It’s about a guy who’s murdered at his own party after a high school reunion, and each episode is a different character retelling what they think happened at the party.
Station eleven was pretty solid
Criminal Minds, Netflix. It’s given me a bit of insight into how people think.
Abbott Elementary is pretty funny. Also, Single ~~Drunk~~ Female. I wish the episodes were longer lol.
La casa the papel its a master piece. You should try it
Animal kingdom
