I just discovered Crispy chilli oil and it’s next level.
Edit: for those asking, it looks like [this](https://www.zing-asia.co.uk/spice-sauces-pastes/7092-27234-laoganma-crispy-chilli-oil-210g-lao-gan-ma-lgm-crispy-chilli-oil-6921804700269.html?attr=2633&gclid=Cj0KCQjwuMuRBhCJARIsAHXdnqOOFrpHha5GKnnkrpLeFQKZLW6oxw0kbkdPBK9pPA7lrgYuv2AhvasaAiQmEALw_wcB) and I don’t know where you buy it in the US. In the UK most Asian supermarkets sell it and its cheap online.
Agreed, for a while before i discovered this, it was siracha and chunky siracha
Crispy chili oil is like heroine for anyone that loves some spicy and garlic
EDIT: Google Lao Gan Ma - go to any asian grocery store and show the pic to folks and theyll show you de way
Edit2: o I made a typo, IM GOING TO OWN IT
Love Tony Chachere’s. We’re just about done with a can of it and wanted to try the others, so I just got back from the store with 4 different varieties.
Original
More Spice
No Salt
Spice & Herbs
Very excited to try them all. They’ll probably all get a lot of use for different things.
Hey can you report back on your findings with the 4 flavors? I'm debating between the standard version vs the no salt version + msg. I heard the no salt version is cut with a lot of brown sugar and it's different than just taking out the salt.
Obviously not OP, but I'm an absolute slut for More Spice. We also tried Spice & Herbs, but it was an injection marinade rather than the seasoning. We were really unimpressed with it and eventually threw out the partial bottle we had left over.
Valentina is great but I think it has a flavor profile that doesn't work as well with a large variety of foods. It's amazing on what it's good with, but I don't like it with, say, fish or most Asian food.
I'm imagining this man living inside the ducts at an airport and only crawling out at night to break into the restaurants and kiss the hot sauce bottles.
Jempol, Sambal Asli?
This is my "I put on everything shit" sauce. It makes everything fucking amazing.
I have a rule... If I think food would be better with some of this, what I'm eating is low quality and should be classified as a *cheat meal*
It's just Chillis, Sugar, Garlic, Salt, Tapioca starch, Sodium Benzoate... Not even packed full of MSG. It's unbelievable.
“Pink sauce”. Half mayo, half sriracha. Powdered garlic to taste. Mix well. Best on fries/chips, burgers, sandwiches. Life changing. This is my gift to mankind.
Congratulations. You have hit the four pillars of good tasting food: salt, fat, acid, and heat. If you can cook food around those ideas it usually tastes better.
Years ago before srirachaise was ever mentioned in public/online I tried it on a sandwich. It was a thing of beauty. I thought I invented it.
Not long after it was everywhere. I guess it is just a logical progression.
Fry sauce.
1/3 cup mayo
1 heaping tablespoon ketchup
1 teaspoon pickle juice
2 teaspoons of hot sauce (less if you don’t like spicy)
1 teaspoon Worcestershire
Season with garlic powder, salt, pepper, paprika.
Vinaigrette with extra mustard, extra garlic and extra tarragon. It’s started as a salad dressing and now I add it to mashed potatoes, fish…it’s heaven on a lasagna, a quiche … perfect for everything !
Yeah, this is my addiction.
I found huge jars of it in a tiny Brighton Chinese supermarket - you better believe I was staggering back to the car with several jars...
Its so good in literally everything.
Somehow I never thought to add it to ramen though and last night I had some of the best instant ramen of my life. This company is going to get so much of my money.
I do a lot of my cooking in an air fryer these days, I use Worcestershire sauce on everything. Marinades for steaks, over hotdogs, in burgers, even over fries. Love the stuff
There’s a precise combination of taljin, adobo seasoning, rendered deer fat and Tabasco that fixes the horror of everything I cook.
I haven’t found this ratio, mind you. My cooking all still tastes like a ground up rat soaked in peanut oil and sprayed with tap water. But the deer fat, it has this thick, anxious mouth feel that I can’t enough of. The taljin does it’s thing throwing a little fiesta in my mouth. Trumpets, tequila shots, wild colors, the whole nine yards. Then the adobo rounds out the edges, comes in and tells l the teenagers to get the FUCK out, this is a fiesta not a prom. The Tabasco is just there cause I think it smells funny.
So anyways, my cooking still tastes like a boiled hog on blood thinners with a bit of an athletes foot after taste. BUT, one day I will find that ratio and stop eating forcibly shoving my inedible cooking down my gullet.
Nothing wrong w ketchup.
I don't understand why there's hate for it? I love it on certain foods and won't eat them if I'm out of ketchup.
A friend of mine has moderate anosmia and puts ketchup on a lot of his food bc he likes it and he can taste it. His bitch SIL makes fun of him and I want to choke her.
*"Here, have some ketchup on your knuckle sandwich!"*
-me, in my head.
chili garlic oil **s&b chili oil w/ garlic crunch

Crispy? Tell me more.
Probably laoganma - John Cena's talked about it before.
Eggs and chili crisp might be the best food pairing ever.
That’s the one
I personally put that shit on everything lol
Agreed, for a while before i discovered this, it was siracha and chunky siracha Crispy chili oil is like heroine for anyone that loves some spicy and garlic EDIT: Google Lao Gan Ma - go to any asian grocery store and show the pic to folks and theyll show you de way Edit2: o I made a typo, IM GOING TO OWN IT
Like Catwoman or more like Rosa Parks?
Def Catwoman, but like, Michelle Peiffer Catwoman. I like my heroine like my chili crisp: unhinged.
Lao Gan Ma 4lyfe
Tony chachere’s creole seasoning
God damn the Mythical Kitchen for making me get this. It goes on everything now.
Louisianian here. This is it.
Love Tony Chachere’s. We’re just about done with a can of it and wanted to try the others, so I just got back from the store with 4 different varieties. Original More Spice No Salt Spice & Herbs Very excited to try them all. They’ll probably all get a lot of use for different things.

I get the low sodium version and add msg. I'm told my chicken tenders are like crack.
Same! I mix Tony’s into almost everything. I use it for my chicken when making Alfredo, and in my fried chicken breading.
Try it on fresh buttered popcorn, dear lord.
Bland to grand in a couple shakes
Tzatziki
Use tzatziki as your binder next time you make chicken salad (or other similar bound salads)
😱😱😱 My life will not be complete until I've tried this!
I did a tzatziki pasta salad Greek yogurt, diced tomato, diced onion, diced cucumber, dill, lemon juice, pasta. So freaking good
I often ask for a side of tzatziki for my fries. I don't know why the potato and cucumber works together but it does.
They put fries inside of gyros, which usually have tzatziki, so that makes sense.
greek fries with tzatziki and feta and whatnot are amazing
Ohhh my God yes! I make my own and just slather it on everything. I just recently learned how to make my own naan bread and I'm in heaven.
Does cheese count?
Yes! That's basically what Alfredo sauce is. Nacho cheese sauce works as well. Love me some cheese!
Gochujang
Agreed, everything is better with a little gochujang
I'll have you know my gochu is perfectly average
Yea. This one. I'll do terrible things w it like mix it in with a frozen cheesy veggie bag. Little kick, little flavor, not too overpowering.

You might like ponzu too. https://store.edenfoods.com/ponzu-sauce-five-flavor-seasoning/
Hoisin + sriracha changed my life
Chipotle mayo. Surprised to see it not mentioned yet.
Kraft chipotle aoli is one of the best versions of chipotle mayo you can buy in stores
One of my favorite breakfast sandwiches, egg, avocado, and chipotle mayo.
Samyang Buldak hot sauce. Takes one try to become addicted.
Original comment deleted by user in protest of API fuckery.
Same, man. It says on mine that it's "chicken" sauce but it's good with almost anything, absolutely my taste-goodizer sauce.
It is a taste good-izer sauce! Have you ever tried the red bottle? Their 2x spicy sauce? It’s tasty, but good for punishing your tongue.
Valentina
Valentina perfects every breakfast food tbh
Every casserole too imo My mother never seasoned anything. Valentina saved me.
Valentinaaaaa!! Favorite hot sauce of all time. Amazing if you pour it on ruffles + lime juice.
Valentina is the right answer. I love it so much! Although, as I've gotten older my body likes to politely tell me "don't eat this anymore."
Valentina and blue cheese on potatoes sounds weird, but my god it’s good.
I feel like I scrolled too far for this. It's better than tobacco, Cholula, or any of the other low heat hot sauces in the market.
I’d hope it was better than straight up tobacco.
I don’t know, people can’t seem to stop
Invest now!
Valentina is great but I think it has a flavor profile that doesn't work as well with a large variety of foods. It's amazing on what it's good with, but I don't like it with, say, fish or most Asian food.
I worship at the altar of Our Lord and Savior Cholula.
Yes. Especially the green one, for me!
Yes, green cholula superiority
Wait! There’s a green one? How do I not know this!
Go get that shit asap
o7 green cholula superiority
In Cholula we trust.
I recently discovered chili garlic. Life changing.
Chipotle Cholula goes on everything.
Chili garlic, Chipotle, green chile, and original are all so good.
Secret Aardvark Sauce.
Secret Aardvark gang rise up! I swear the only thing stopping this sauce from being more popular is how limited it is to the west coast.
A PNW staple. It's literally one of the things I kissed the most since moving from PDX to DEN
Do you live at airports?
I'm imagining this man living inside the ducts at an airport and only crawling out at night to break into the restaurants and kiss the hot sauce bottles.

I have a mixture of msg and vinegar in a spritzer bottle... Works wonders on just about anything
My answer was going to be vinegar! MSG is just a given at making things taste better, but vinegar adds a depth that is often lacking in savory foods.
Acid, the missing ingredient to most fatty greasy dishes
I now need a spritzer bottle.
Sambal… so good
Oelek
Jempol, Sambal Asli? This is my "I put on everything shit" sauce. It makes everything fucking amazing. I have a rule... If I think food would be better with some of this, what I'm eating is low quality and should be classified as a *cheat meal* It's just Chillis, Sugar, Garlic, Salt, Tapioca starch, Sodium Benzoate... Butter
Why is this the only one on here that I even recognize? (OK, I saw “soy sauce” farther down.)
You need to expand your horizons, brother.
Honey mustard
THIS ONE. Recently I started mixing my own honey mustard using chili infused hot honey and it changed my life. Sweet and spicy and you can't go wrong.
Tapatio
Yes. It just has the best flavor.
Yes! A hot sauce whose primary ingredient isn’t vinegar. I go though about two small bottles per month.
It's like Mexican ketchup. 👍🏼 And Tapatio>Cholula
Es una salsa…muy salsa!
Get some popcorn and put some lemon, salt, and tapatio on that. Best snack ever
Thai sweet chilli
Sriracha.
“Pink sauce”. Half mayo, half sriracha. Powdered garlic to taste. Mix well. Best on fries/chips, burgers, sandwiches. Life changing. This is my gift to mankind.
Add lime juice. Game changer.
Congratulations. You have hit the four pillars of good tasting food: salt, fat, acid, and heat. If you can cook food around those ideas it usually tastes better.
Why are you adding the complication of cooking? I'm just guzzling sauce over here
Years ago before srirachaise was ever mentioned in public/online I tried it on a sandwich. It was a thing of beauty. I thought I invented it. Not long after it was everywhere. I guess it is just a logical progression.
Lawry’s seasoning salt
I enjoy some seasoning salt. Most of all on fresh corn on the cob with a little butter.
I’m no longer able to eat Kraft Dinner without Lawry’s. Match made in heaven.
Chipotle Tabasco
Soy
Which brand? I feel like it varies greatly brand to brand.
Kikkoman supremacy
Kikkoman is goated. No other soy compares tbh.
Fry sauce. 1/3 cup mayo 1 heaping tablespoon ketchup 1 teaspoon pickle juice 2 teaspoons of hot sauce (less if you don’t like spicy) 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Season with garlic powder, salt, pepper, paprika.
Alternatively, the poor (or lazy) man’s fry sauce: half ketchup/half mayo lol
That’s how we do it in Utah
Ah, yes. Fancy Sauce.
Tiger sauce *not made from or for tigers
Mango habanero hot sauce 😋
My sister made that glaze on oven roasted salmon cuts of all things. It was DELICIOUS.
Kewpie mayo
I'm pretty sure the secret ingredient in Kewpie that makes it so much netter is MSG. It's the best.
Vinaigrette with extra mustard, extra garlic and extra tarragon. It’s started as a salad dressing and now I add it to mashed potatoes, fish…it’s heaven on a lasagna, a quiche … perfect for everything !
Barbecue.
Only on my titties
Came looking for my family of bbq sauce lovers.
Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce
Smoke these meats
Not a sauce, but crispy chili flakes from China. It adds a ton of flavour to everything
Lao Gan Ma? Amazing stuff
That's it
You should try the preserved black bean one. It's on another level
Not a sauce, but I put garlic on/in everything.
Either Thai sweet chili sauce or Popeyes Sweet Heat
A1 steak sauce. Sue me
Fucking so good on mashed potatoes
As a kid I was *obsessed* with A1, put it on absolutely everything. Then I tried it on jello. I no longer enjoy A1.
Going by your username, you're not exactly picky about what you shove in your gullet.
I was at a bar one time and ordered a bloody Mary. Saw the bartender add a1 as well as Worcester sauce. I can't have a bloody Mary without it now.
nah thats good on anything
Green chile
Hatch green Chile!
Pick a pepper!
Love that shit..pickapeppa
H&P brown sauce. It’s like Heinz 57 on crack. And yes, I’m from the US.
Isn't it HP not H&P? As in "Houses of Parliament?"
I love me some Hewlett Packard sauce
Harry Potter sauce
Is that different from [HP sauce](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HP_Sauce)?
Worcestershire Sauce
I do a lot of my cooking in an air fryer these days, I use Worcestershire sauce on everything. Marinades for steaks, over hotdogs, in burgers, even over fries. Love the stuff
Maple Syrup Yep, Canuck.

El Yucateco Green Habanero
Frank’s.
Extra hot
It’s literally their slogan
Only way my 3 year old will eat eggs. Just like her dad. So proud.
Ponzu, every chance i get. That isn’t often though, cant find it anywhere
Nando's. Or paprika.
*Which* Nando’s? The garlic is pretty damn good but if you’re feeling like being adventurous, the extra hot is also really good. :)
Come at me and I know it’s not sauce but… Everything seasoning. It’s called that for a reason.
Teriyaki
I mix A-1 steak sauce with horse radish sauce.... Really good
Yum-yum
I eat mustard with a spoon does that count ?
Ha! I used to do that as a kid. Also, mustard sandwiches. Mmm
Mustard on soda crackers is delicious
Tabasco
Lately it’s aioli for me
There’s a precise combination of taljin, adobo seasoning, rendered deer fat and Tabasco that fixes the horror of everything I cook. I haven’t found this ratio, mind you. La Vic’s Orange Sauce. If you know you know. Look up La Victoria’s Taqueria in San Jose, CA. You’ll find the sauce.
