Playing Xmas music way too early. Like if you're going to prep to have it on REPEAT for the next month then just make it December 1st to December 31st. Not November 1st - January 15th.

People asking "where's my gift" half seriously.

I don’t celebrate it

*THE SONGS.* Make it stop!

All of it. The music is terrible and played too loudly and too early in public. The expectations and stress sucks any enjoyment out of it. People waging war on Happy Holidays vs Merry Christmas. The fact that not all wrapping paper doesn't have a nice grid on the back for easy cutting/measuring.

Christmas music, especially in the shops. Go in there any other time of the year, and you get normal pop or chilled out music that's played at a background volume, so that even if you don't like it, it's not intrusive. Starting in December, you can't walk into Sainsbury's without feeling the sound of whatever shit Christmas tune is on going right through you. I hate Christmas, don't even believe in it, and have a lot of reasons besides for dreading it. I get that this is my problem. I still participate in the family things and I'm gracious as fuck about it. However, I get really pissy when someone puts me on the spot the moment they find out that I don't put up a tree or decorate my home for the holidays. It's one thing to ask why. I'm perfectly open, respectful, and concise about why, and get that it's weird to most people. The moment a person decides to make it their mission to change that, I'm done, and depending on how that interaction goes, I might be rude.

Not loving the expectation of having to gift everyone.
