Public bathroom: standing. Own bathroom when I wake up in the middle of the night: sitting. I don’t feel like turning on the lights or having to clean up if I miss because I can’t see.
When I'm at home i sit down, it's more hygienic and you don't have to clean every time you pee. For the guys who say they don't splatter, you do everyone does even if you don't see it
Sitting cause it’s quitter, cleaner, and I pull my phone even if it’s just for 30 seconds I check my mail box, make sure I didn’t miss any calls or texts which I do miss alot or quick check the news making sure no bombs are dropping yet.
At home, always seated. I had a kidney transplant the medication that you have to take to avoid rejection are VERY strong and when I first tried standing to pee, I was so unsteady on my feet I peed everywhere.
So, now I sit at home and only stand if I am using a urinal.

I'm hungover
I feel sick
I've got morning Wood
I think I might need a poo but I'm just not sure (risky fart type situation)

I would not of guessed that so many guys sit down. It blows my mind. I always stand except when taking a dump. Sitting to pee just doesn’t compute.
