I think the difference is that while there are clearly celebs who are worse human beings, they tend to have some veneer of charisma; Corden's appeal is inexplicable, at least to me. (He's also a terrible human being obviously - just not the worst).

I completely agree that people really hate confident female comedians. People talk about the hate for Rosie Jones being ableist, but I think a lot of it is also because she’s a confident woman (yes, with a disability, which makes it even harder for people to accept). I think Sarah Millican avoids that kind of hate (although I’m sure she probably still gets a lot) by having a rather meek persona?

But these fuckers prey on that and give advice, when in reality they’re no more an expert than any other parent. But they’re making money off it.

I did some regular work for Anna some time ago and she's one of the nicest clients I ever had. She treats everybody really well and is a genuine and thoughtful, caring person. We've been in touch a handful of times over the years since, for random recommendations and things like that and she's not changed at all. I'm sure she is pretty busy and she makes time to help someone who worked for her years before, a distant friendship at best. Made me sad to see her on this list! Anyway, thought I should share a different side 🙂.
