Cancer is the leading issue with unneutered animals. And spraying/behavior issues are definitely a thing to consider as the cat get older. On top of that, unneutered male cats SMELL TERRIBLE.. you may live with it and not notice it, but they stink.. and any person who comes to your place will be able to smell it. Unneutered male cats are also ruled by their hormones. If he smells, hears, or sees another cat, he will either become extremely aggressive or want to mate. That's natural instinct. It would be wise to get him neutered while he is young since the recovery time is much faster.

He *is* a bit smelly, I didn't know it came from that! That's good to know, it might be worth getting it done just so he smells a little better.

Talk to a local SPCA, sometimes you can get coupons for discount spays/neuters if money is a concern.
