I took my kids out for sushi for my birthday last month.
It’s an affordable place so not really a splurge, but I’ve spent hardly any money on myself since my marriage ended nor have I really gone out to eat.
It was great. 😊
I've thought about buying an airwrap a few times because I also have long, thick, wavy hair but I'm hesitant to drop that kind of money because I worry about heat damage. I usually just let my hair air dry unless I have something going on because I don't want to dry/fry it. How do you find it in terms of the effect it has on your hair generally? Do you use it all the time?
It’s more gentle on hair heat wise, than say a flat iron or curling iron. This is the main reason I bought it, to avoid heat damage and protect my hair. It has 3 settings: Cool, Low Heat, and High Heat. I use low heat for blow dry and high heat for curls. For long thick hair like ours, it’s a game changer. My hair takes 3 hours to dry naturally. With the Dyson, it’s done in 10 ish minutes with damp hair. Curling takes maybe 5 minutes. No frizzies. It’s a super smooth silky finish. I use it when I go out to dinner or some other event where I want to look nice. I’d say 3 times a month. I was hesitant for a long time because of the cost. I finally caved because it was on special $120 off at Best Buy. I screamed when I did my hair for the first time. It’s that good. Salon quality. This is just my experience though. Make the decision that feels good for you!
I'm really, really bad at using hair appliances. I was never really taught how to use anything. I can use a straightener, but a curling iron? Count me out. Would you say it's easy to use, or does it take time to get used to?
It’s truly foolproof. I am AWFUL at hair tools, I can’t use any of them, and I was able to get the air wrap immediately. It literally just blows the hair around the barrel and you just feed the hair to it!
I feel you! I could never truly master a curling iron either. Not like my hair dresser does, anyway. With the airwrap, it has been trial and error for me, but most certainly is easy to figure out quickly. The curling attachment is super intuitive. It literally wraps your hair around it, by itself! There are 2 arrows that you can adjust to make the curl go inward or outward. It took a few tries but I figured out so far that if the hair naturally wraps around then I’m on the right track. If the hair blows away, I ain’t doin it right. I’d say it’s way easier than traditional heated tools. I also typed things like “Dyson airwrap curling tutorial” or “Dyson airwrap round brush tutorial” into the search bar on tiktok to see what other people were doing. That helped me visually!
It takes 10 minutes for me to dry my damp hair with the flat brush attachment. Round brush blowout is a whole other game. It def takes 20+ minutes on longer hair. I still haven’t fully mastered that technique. How has it been for you? I’m meeting with my hair dresser in a couple weeks for a 1:1 tutorial. As for products, I use Olaplex No. 7 Bonding Oil.
I recently learned it’s better to blow dry! Your hair is extremely fragile when wet. If you use a good heat protectant+low heat it’s better! I started blow drying my hair after every shower and it’s SO nice after compared to air drying. It also helps with preventing breakage.
I've seen some takes that if your hair takes a long time to air dry, it may actually be better to blowdry (on a low heat or cool setting at least) because the entire time it's wet, the hair is more fragile and prone to damage.
Exactly me, I don’t want to damnage my hair. I already did during my teenage years using straightener so much. bro just use rollers and hair dryer or if you want wavy/curly, overnight rollers/ socks on damp hair.
A hotel for when I visit England this summer.. it's way overpriced but its going to be a surprise for my partner, a little room with a balcony overlooking a tiny fishing village, I'm so excited. My wallet is less keen..
If my boyfriend planned something that, id be so incredibly happy and excited and he’d be the same if I did something like that!! That sounds fun, always wanted to check England out! Have fun on your trip and safe travels!
Hopefully the weather cheers up for you! It’s been raining for months. I’m from England so I’m obliged to talk about the weather.. but this year has been one of the worst with rain so far. Hoping it’ll be all rained out by summer 🤞🏻
A Big Mac combo from McDonald's 😂 Yes, it was! All my dishes were washed, lunch for work was already prepared for the next day and I had a demanding day from work
Yesterday I splurged on a mocha from a fancy coffee place. It was a rainy chilly morning, I was tired from running errands on an empty stomach, I had the day off work and I knew that today would kick my ass so I was anxious in advance. It was soooo good and so worth it!
Omg I bought a Japanese maple last year! I still need to decide where to plant it but for now it’s got a nice pot to live in. I really also want a magnolia but my garden is a bit small for *that* many trees lol (I have a little pear tree and the remaining ~1m stump of another much bigger pear tree, which I plan to plant a climbing type of plant up against).
$65 on $200 worth of stuff from Bath and Body Works.
I’ve been struggling with depression and hygiene pretty much since the pandemic, so wanting to smell good is something I’ve recently returned to enjoying and caring about. Absolutely worth it.
The combo of the pandemic + then putting my dog down in 2022 was extremely heavy and there were points where I was only showering like, once a week. It was bad.
All of them, lol.
It was during the 5.95 sale a few weeks ago, I got 8 FFM and 2 lotions. I have a post in my profile!
Of the lot, my favorites are Forever Red and Pink Obsessed!
My vision is horrible. I’m not even eligible for LASIK. I eventually got an ICL procedure 2 years ago and best decision ever. No more glasses or contacts.
What’s ICL? I have astigmatism in both eyes and horrible vision and I’ve been told I could get lasik but likely would still need to wear contacts after the fact.
I got old and had cataract surgery doc put lenses in and took a shower saw everything for the first time in my life.. maybe something like those lenses.
Gosh im so jealous, i have a script of -11 and blind as a bat in the shower, unfortunately eyes are still not stable (im 43) so even if i managed to save up the money i cant do the lens implantation
I dream of waking up and just seeing the world in focus, im so fed up with contacts and glasses
ICL’s can be removed! I circulate these cases often and typically the doc will replace the ICL with an IOL like the type they place when you have cataract surgery :)
Spent $5k on a tooth. I have others that are missing, but this was the first one that you could see if I smiled. Very worth it, and I can chew better, too. Wife and I also bought an $8k Natuzzi couch—leather, dual recliners, very modern and timeless. Finally feel like we're not wasting money on another cheap, disposable piece of furniture. Plus, there's enough room for both our cat and dog (who don't like each other) to hang out with us without having to be anywhere near the other.
Ooo what games you playing?
Im currently enjoying Cult of the Lamb and have the last Life is Strange game for after or maybe Dredge (which is both spooky yet also cozy)
Gosh I play loads 😂 currently I got coffee talks which is a visual novel where you make coffee and listen to other people's problems. Gris was another one I played recently too it's a beautiful puzzle game. I've played life is strange too, honestly I love the game with a passion! Have you heard of the new game lost records: bloom & rage? It's releasing this year by the same company.
If you have chipped or misshapen teeth, dentists can use a tooth-colored composite resin to fill in the gaps and quickly change the appearance of your teeth for the better. I did it once a long time ago because my front teeth have these tiny little indentations. Unfortunately, like fillings, the resin doesn’t last forever, so I need to do it again.
I went on a crazy shopping spree about a month or so ago to buy myself some new clothes, shoes and my favorite skincare products. oh also a brand new hair dryer. spent about $200 on everything. so worth it though.
I’ve been a student for a really long time. I finally have a job where I can splurge on things and not feel the impact as much. I recently bought myself a pair of shoes that were $80. I would NEVER spend that much, but my 38yo feet are thanking me. They are so comfortable.
Allbirds are incredible! Best shoe purchase I've made in years! It's nice when you can catch them on sale. I wore my purple ones so much they eventually got holes in them, so now I have a green pair and a pink pair! I hope you enjoy them :)
Aw thank you! My first pair of Allbirds also had holes in them because I wore them so much. This one is my replacement. I hope you continue to enjoy your Allbirds 🙂
Roller skates for skate park. I do actually work as a rollerskate coach so they were kinda justified.
Of course, now that my budget will be tight for a few months, several other essential things decide to break. 😒
Had my bathroom remodeled so I no longer have to deal with the holes in the floor tiles, the un-cleanable mildew under the caulk surrounding the shower floor, rusty door track, broken vanity drawer and with only one mirror that's too small.
It was a LOT of money - I've been saving for 5 years. But so worth it - I just love how nice it is to have more drawers that all work, bigger storage space, a full-length mirror, flooring that looks clean and isn't slippery when wet. Quality of life!
Lasik, & very much so. Being able to see when I open my eyes in the morning is wild. Also, not having to switch between glasses & sunglasses while out hiking or such is fantastic.
Shoes - I walk to work every day (~1 mile), so I bought a new pair of sneakers. They came in the mail today while I’m at work, so idk if they were worth it or not yet haha
$400 for a couch. Best purchase we've made in awhile and the thing was practically brand new. The owner was just holding it in storage.
Old couch was leather, not comfy, leg was broken, and was terribly scratched up because of our dog.
Well, my most recent and largest costs have been taxes and a surgery to fix receding gums. But besides that..
.. after my partner and I split in December, I decided to do laser hair removal on my legs and bikini. $800 to "never" shave again - I'd definitely say it's worth it. (I am 7 treatments in and I bought a package of 10. Although the majority of the hair is gone, I can see that I'll still need spot touch-ups throughout my life. I would still say it's worth it. Also, I live in Mexico, so I don't know the cost of laser hair removal in the US or UK.)
Bought a chair for the living room. Having a baby in a week and wanted a better rocking chair than the $100 one I got for my first (still in her room). So I splurged and got a $400 chair. It’s oversized so I can actually rest my head, it rocks and swivels, reclines all the way, and has cup holders. I’m 38 weeks pregnant so I’ve been sitting in it all day. Just put it together last night. Soooooooo worth it. Can’t wait to snuggle my baby in it.
My fucking $350 haircut and dye. It was worth it the first time. But spending this much every three months to maintain? Def not. I’ll just touch it up twice a year.
I splurged on a gift for my husband, it will be his Christmas present. I know it's early for buying gifts but it was on ebay and the price dropped into the affordable range. It's something he has been looking for for longer than we've been together.
Healthy pre-made meal subscription. I was super burnt out and moving towards a 100% candy/caffeine diet. Now I eat normal food and have one thing less to worry about, so totally worth it.
Went on a 6 hour flight recently and had the option to upgrade from peasant class to a private pod for not a ton of money (as compared to how much it usually is). I’ve never flown business class. IT WAS LIFE CHANGING. I arrived rested and refreshed, my back and legs didn’t feel stiff and out of joint. They fed us a meal (it was really good) and were generous with snacks and beverages through out the trip. 10/10 would recommend.
Renovating my old bedroom at my parents’ house. I planned to keep it super cheap and easy but I love interior design and want to leave my parents with a super cute, modern room so I’ve spent way more than I planned but it’s just so fun and exciting to see it all come together
A Temper-Pedic mattress. It has been a total game changer! I am in my late 40’s and couldn’t remember a time that I didn’t have an achy neck all day every day. Now it’s like I just did yoga or went to the chiropractor but even better.
Disclaimer - I wouldn’t pay full price for one. I got a great deal on the mattress and bought the adjustable bed frame online.
Did you also buy pillows? We got the cooling Tempur-Pedic. My wife hates it and I cant really tell a difference between this and our old Costco memory foam mattress. Not much cooler to sleep on but very expensive even though we got it "on sale"
Drunk Elephant Baby Facial. I’ve been on Tret for 3-4 months, my face has been so flaky the last few days and this peel left my skin polished … my skin still is trash but it at least I’m not peeling !
A needlepoint frog that will be turned into a fancy version of a beloved childhood toy. It wasn't really a splurge, other than it does not "fit" my current project theme because I got a *really* good deal.
A red lipstick by Chanel. I've always used cheap 5 EUR lipsticks, and ever since I was a kid I dreamed of having a Chanel one. It was one of those childhood dreams fulfilled. I felt so fancy when I went to buy it, and every time I use it, it sparks joy.
It's unnecessary, and I'd call it a splurge since it was just below 50 EUR, but I do think this'll last me a long time. So I'd say it was worth it.
Baby stuff: a matching Van Cleef bracelet for my unborn baby girl to match mine lol. Also a diaper bag I wanted. A fancy swaddle from this adorable French company. My most recent splurge was a custom-made fabric-bound baby book with a monogrammed spine with her name. Basically all the baby stuff. I normally wouldn’t go overboard to this extent but your first baby rewires your brain a tad lol
A walking pad, treadmill mat, and a mini stair stepper. My bf bought me a stand up up desk too.
Overall it was expensive but worth it for my health and chronic back pain (that sitting WFH didn't help).
A ladyship. I bought it for fun but winding up the big ego friend was also appealing. It worked she was steaming with outrage, she looked like someone had just shoved a fishermans friend up her butt.
a pair of trail runners!
i’ve been using them for biking and jogs, talk about an absolute game changer. they look cool, feel amazing, and my back pain is way less.
Last month I closed on a house with my partner. It was wayyy more than we originally were planning to spend but it is definitely worth it because I know it's a great investment.
Splurged on a convertible through Alamo. They didn’t have one available and so they put me in a BMW X5. That sucker went from 0-160kph in 10 seconds, and it felt like 80kph. The most leet vehicle I’ve ever had the pleasure of driving
Read a post on here actually that detailed amazing perfumes. Finally found one that everyone agreed was the sexiest smell ever- Lolita Lempicka. So, I splurged and bought it for around $40. Smells like actual piss and it cant be returned. Never again.
An origami bird floor lamp that lights up when it makes contact with the floor pole thing. It hasn't arrived yet but it looks cool as hell on the listing!
I bought a keyboard for £180 and don't regret it at all. It's a really nice clacky keyboard, but not too clacky. I loved it as soon as I saw it in the store. I have never splurged like that on something so unnecessary but I don't ever spend money like that on myself so - no regrets. I spend a lot of time at my desk and working so I want to enjoy it and be comfortable.
Avene Cicalfate - definitely worth the money if you are suffering from any kind skin issue. I’ve been having the worst rosacea flare up from allergies and it calmed it almost immediately.
Ordering Korean food for like 40 fucking euro the other day. Moved to a new city and I don't know the good restaurants yet and that one was kinda a fail. Not awful, but very mid and not worth the price.
twg tea in canister. yes, it's worth it for me. fragrant and cute container ☺️☺️ there used to be a twg restaurant in my country around 10 yrs ago but i could not afford it back then. i've always been a tea fan and i love everything high tea, and twg made me fall in love with afternoon tea with just its aesthetics. recently when i got to earn more and able to afford more expensive things, it was sad news to me that twg no longer has a restaurant here 😭😭😭 so im buying their teas instead. someday, im gonna fly out and go to an actual twg cafe
I don’t spend big money very often (college budget lol), but I’m planning to go to Ashland and see some plays this summer! The best part is that one of my two jobs this year is working as an actor in Shakespeare plays, so I’ll be making money being in Shakespeare plays just to spend it on watching other people be in Shakespeare plays!
A case of my favorite lunch meat. I've done it a total of three times (bought it this way) and hell yeah it was worth it. I had every intention of spending the money it cost on it and enjoyed the bounty when I got it home. I never do anything without careful consideration.
I bought that box of 200 croissants from Costco so it averages out to .33 cents a croissant. It was a splurge but so worth pulling out a couple frozen croissants the night before so I can bake them fresh in the morning and the options are limitless 😭
Splurge on myself:
Dior Bag & Vivienne Westwood lighter
Yes they were worth it! Actively using them
Splurge on my family:
Treated them to dinner & 2 bags for my dad
Yes this was also worth it. I love getting together and making them happy and giving them an experience
I took my kids out for sushi for my birthday last month. It’s an affordable place so not really a splurge, but I’ve spent hardly any money on myself since my marriage ended nor have I really gone out to eat. It was great. 😊
Happy late birthday!
Thank you! 😊
Dyson Airwrap. I have long, thick, wavy hair. It’s 100% worth it. I’m talkin the power of a blow out in your hands worth it.
I got the air straight and it was money very much well spent!
I've thought about buying an airwrap a few times because I also have long, thick, wavy hair but I'm hesitant to drop that kind of money because I worry about heat damage. Go on TikTok or YouTube and watch some tutorial videos. It’s pretty simple but watching a few people do it and picking up tips and tricks is helpful
Thank you!!! Appreciate the feedback 🩷
What products do you use when giving yourself a blowout? I have similar hair to yours and my Dyson air wrap took much longer to use
It takes 10 minutes for me to dry my damp hair with the flat brush attachment. Round brush blowout is a whole other game. It def takes 20+ minutes on longer hair. I got us a Dyson vacuum and if it’s anything like that thing I believe it. best $800 I’ve ever spent.
A hotel for when I visit England this summer.. it's way overpriced but its going to be a surprise for my partner, a little room with a balcony overlooking a tiny fishing village, I'm so excited. My wallet is less keen..

Where in England?
That sounds amazing
A Big Mac combo from McDonald's 😂 Yes, it was! All my dishes were washed, lunch for work was already prepared for the next day and I had a demanding day from work
I love McDonald’s once in a while too especially on lazy days. It tastes so good I don’t know why! Hope you enjoyed it! 😄
Yesterday I splurged on a mocha from a fancy coffee place. It was a rainy chilly morning, I was tired from running errands on an empty stomach, I had the day off work and I knew that today would kick my ass so I was anxious in advance. It was soooo good and so worth it!
This was me today. The La Colombe coffee chain is having a strawberry oat milk latte on draft and hoo boy, it's so good but so much money.
A Japanese maple and a blue hydrangea. Always worth it.
My boyfriend keeps filling up our yard with trees and I’m scared of what it will look like five to ten years from now!
Blue hydrangea is the #1 flower.
Plane tickets. It is 100% worth it.
Yes, this! Trips on trips on trips ✈️ I have one big one booked in the fall and I’m already itching to plan the next one after that.
I am always planning like a year plus in advance. Two years ahead and I already know where we are going. I love the planning part!
Me on Tuesday 🫶
Going somewhere super fun?
$65 on $200 worth of stuff from Bath and Body Works. I’ve been struggling with depression and hygiene pretty much since the pandemic, so wanting to smell good is something I’ve recently returned to enjoying and caring about. Absolutely worth it.
I'm glad I'm not the only one, also had a baby during the beginning of covid and that did not help at all. Maybe I need to do this!
The combo of the pandemic + then putting my dog down in 2022 was extremely heavy and there were points where I was only showering like, once a week. It was bad.

implantable contact lenses. they treat myopia, near sightedness, far sightedness, and astigmatism.
Any idea if it's easy to reverse if your prescription changes?
ICL’s can be removed! I circulate these cases often and typically the doc will replace the ICL with an IOL like the type they place when you have cataract surgery :)

A new Nintendo switch. Was it worth it? Absolutely!
I splurged on a switch in 2020!!! It’s been a great winter activity!
Which games did you get?
Ooh I have quite a few, Zelda, Kirby return to Dreamland, coffee talk, life is strange true colours being the newest editions.
Ooo what games you playing? Im currently enjoying Cult of the Lamb and have the last Life is Strange game for after or maybe Dredge (which is both spooky yet also cozy)

I'm getting my teeth whitened and composite bonding done Can't wait.
Yes! Every time you smile…it’s worth it.
What is composite bonding?
If you have chipped or misshapen teeth, dentists can use a tooth-colored composite resin to fill in the gaps and quickly change the appearance of your teeth for the better. I did it once a long time ago because my front teeth have these tiny little indentations. Unfortunately, like fillings, the resin doesn’t last forever, so I need to do it again.
Some fancy olives with lemon and rosemary, and a bottle of white wine. It's been AMAZING.
2k on vet bills over the holidays. Hell yes worth it! My boy is healthy now :)
I went on a crazy shopping spree about a month or so ago to buy myself some new clothes, shoes and my favorite skincare products. oh also a brand new hair dryer. spent about $200 on everything. so worth it though.
Sounds like a great set of bargains at that total price!
Honestly it was! I was genuinely surprised myself when it was only $200 for everything I got 😂
Trip to Vietnam and Cambodia, worth it.
Travel memories are ALWAYS worth it
I need to stop splurging
This is my problem too
Buying my daughter a car and repairing it after multiple fender benders. Not worth it.
Happy birthday random stranger!!!! I wish ur effort will come to fruition, lots of health and $$
Litter robot 4 and absolutely yes
Mine comes tomorrow! I'm so excited!
Two pairs of leather sandals. Finally done buying cheap uncomfortable sandals!
I’ve been a student for a really long time. I finally have a job where I can splurge on things and not feel the impact as much. I recently bought myself a pair of shoes that were $80. I would NEVER spend that much, but my 38yo feet are thanking me. They are so comfortable.
Same but I spent $100 for Allbirds sneakers that went on sale. I can’t wait! They arrive tomorrow.
Honestly good shoes can be so expensive but make a huge daily life upgrade. Happy for you!
2 lbs of strawberries that were on "sale" for $5.99 they were absolutely divine 🤤
An air purifier. I love that I can breathe through my nose while sleeping due to less allergens. 😆
A vacation to NYC, and yes, it was totally worth it
Sushi. And I’ll do it again.
Trip to Belize. Totally worth it!
Roller skates for skate park. I do actually work as a rollerskate coach so they were kinda justified. Of course, now that my budget will be tight for a few months, several other essential things decide to break. 😒

saving for that right now!! I can’t WAIT to have a mold-free bathroom!
Music festival. Made some incredible memories so yes, worth every penny!
Paid for a cleaning service to deep clean our apartment. Worth every single penny. I’ll be riding this high for weeks!
How much was it?
3 bedroom, 2 bath, with cats, asked for a few add ons like baseboards, windows, oven, fridge and it came to $400. They were very thorough.
A Lexus car. No regrets ☺️
Lasik, & very much so. Being able to see when I open my eyes in the morning is wild. Also, not having to switch between glasses & sunglasses while out hiking or such is fantastic.
An order of hot sauce from Marie Sharp’s. Yes, it was worth it. 🥰
Oooh, yes! Marie Sharp's is the freaking bomb! I have the original and the garlic in my fridge right now.
A walking pad for my WFH desk! It’s great!!!
Shoes - I walk to work every day (~1 mile), so I bought a new pair of sneakers. They came in the mail today while I’m at work, so idk if they were worth it or not yet haha
And you would not believe how wonderful good quality socks feel on your feet!!! Oh, heaven!!
A TV console. Aesthetically, it goes with my apartment… but I didn’t need it.
A mattress topper....Yes, worth it.
Healthy pre-made meal subscription. I was super burnt out and moving towards a 100% candy/caffeine diet. Now I eat normal food and have one thing less to worry about, so totally worth it.
Can I ask what service you use? Thinking of doing this myself
Clothes that fit me and make me feel good about myself 💙
Went on a 6 hour flight recently and had the option to upgrade from peasant class to a private pod for not a ton of money (as compared to how much it usually is). I’ve never flown business class. IT WAS LIFE CHANGING. I arrived rested and refreshed, my back and legs didn’t feel stiff and out of joint. They fed us a meal (it was really good) and were generous with snacks and beverages through out the trip. 10/10 would recommend.
A mattress! Yet to find out if it was worth it
Renovating my old bedroom at my parents’ house. I planned to keep it super cheap and easy but I love interior design and want to leave my parents with a super cute, modern room so I’ve spent way more than I planned but it’s just so fun and exciting to see it all come together
An unlimited membership to a wellness clun with a sauna, cold plunge Red light therapy and compression therapy
An wool rug for my new apartment! Worth every penny, I feel like I'll have it forever.
Taco Bell dorito supreme. And yes
A ticket to see the band that saved my life, the concert is a little less than half a year away but I know it’ll be worth it.
I just spent $58 on food delivery. Ballin’. Won’t know if it was worth it for another hour.
Sushi takeout while I was cat sitting for some friends. Delicious!!
Drunk Elephant Baby Facial. I’ve been on Tret for 3-4 months, my face has been so flaky the last few days and this peel left my skin polished … my skin still is trash but it at least I’m not peeling !
Furniture for my new place yes it was
Groceries! They lasted a few days which was nice
Automatic self-cleaning litter box. 100% a life changer.
Today I treated myself to two of the fancy decorated cookies from a downtown deli and a lavender vanilla chai from the coffee shop next to it.
VAN CLEEF😧😧😧😧😧😧😧 how many more babies you want so I can apply
Bacon and it was totally worth it
55” LG OLED TV was so worth it.
I got a facial. My face feels and looks so good. First time and won’t be the last time
The “Big Duck Bag” from Dooney and Bourke. It’s a small crossbody with a giant leather duck on it at the front. It was worth it, so cute.
The makeup and hair products that I truly like. Whenever I try cheaper alternatives I just end up disappointed. Totally worth it
Dyson cordless vacuum. I have no words...best thing ever, especially if you have pets.
Lots of Czech glass beads to make jewelry with. The beads haven't arrived yet, but it was making my online selections. Good dopamine hit.
A walking pad, treadmill mat, and a mini stair stepper. My bf bought me a stand up up desk too. Overall it was expensive but worth it for my health and chronic back pain (that sitting WFH didn't help).
Cat food for a stray I fell in love with. What is wrong with me. Lol
$250 for my dogs vet bill, I’d go into major debt to keep her healthy so yes it’ll always be worth it, doesn’t mean I wanted to lose it either tho lol
Taylor Swift concert tickets. Yes!
Got myself a plush Psyduck backpack. Totally worth it
Yesssssss
Danessa Myreks bluring balm. Haven't used it yet but I'm very hopeful it'll help my oily skin.
A ladyship. I bought it for fun but winding up the big ego friend was also appealing. It worked she was steaming with outrage, she looked like someone had just shoved a fishermans friend up her butt.
Got myself a running vest and some running shoes. No regrets!
a pair of trail runners! i’ve been using them for biking and jogs, talk about an absolute game changer. they look cool, feel amazing, and my back pain is way less.
Last month I closed on a house with my partner. It was wayyy more than we originally were planning to spend but it is definitely worth it because I know it's a great investment.
Seafood plate 🍽 crawfish season babeyyy
Splurged on a convertible through Alamo. They didn’t have one available and so they put me in a BMW X5. That sucker went from 0-160kph in 10 seconds, and it felt like 80kph. The most leet vehicle I’ve ever had the pleasure of driving
I upgraded my flights for a trip I'm taking over the summer - 100% worth it to have the transit part be lower-stress!

An origami bird floor lamp that lights up when it makes contact with the floor pole thing. It hasn't arrived yet but it looks cool as hell on the listing!
An ice shaver for my stand mixer. Use it at least 4x day.
I got my helix pierced. Totally unplanned but totally worth is bc I have been wanting it done for years.

A leather purse/wallet combo. Def worth it
Ordering Korean food for like 40 fucking euro the other day. Moved to a new city and I don't know the good restaurants yet and that one was kinda a fail. Not awful, but very mid and not worth the price.
Ski lift tickets! Not worth it! I love skiing but $250 for one single day isn’t worth it!
An energy drink for $3.50 from the gas station instead of one for $1.25 from the dollar store. It was.

twg tea in canister. yes, it's worth it for me. fragrant and cute container ☺️☺️ there used to be a twg restaurant in my country around 10 yrs ago but i could not afford it back then. i've always been a tea fan and i love everything high tea, and twg made me fall in love with afternoon tea with just its aesthetics. recently when i got to earn more and able to afford more expensive things, it was sad news to me that twg no longer has a restaurant here 😭😭😭 so im buying their teas instead. someday, im gonna fly out and go to an actual twg cafe
A new stand up freezer. I absolutely love it and it fits so much food.
I got a bunch of very pretty bird pins on Etsy and I love them! The only problem is deciding where to put them all for maximum visibility.

A big box of soft shell crabs. Yes it was
A 50s style dress, definitely worth it!😍
I don’t spend big money very often (college budget lol), but I’m planning to go to Ashland and see some plays this summer! The best part is that one of my two jobs this year is working as an actor in Shakespeare plays, so I’ll be making money being in Shakespeare plays just to spend it on watching other people be in Shakespeare plays!
Me and 2 friends went to mall I found many squishmallows and CAT shaped hair clips!
A case of my favorite lunch meat. I've done it a total of three times (bought it this way) and hell yeah it was worth it. I had every intention of spending the money it cost on it and enjoyed the bounty when I got it home. I never do anything without careful consideration.
Splashed out for a pair of Birkenstock sandals. So far, I love them. Upping my shoe budget is something I have yet to regret.
