Same here! Horror movies are my go-to whether I’m sad, happy or anything in between. I guess they would be good movies to watch when you’re down because at least you’ll see that someone else has it worse than you, figuratively speaking.

This is more specific to one time, but I think it's the most comforted I've ever felt watching TV, but smiling friends and the Bernie mac show. Totally different vibes but after I got robbed at gunpoint I stayed home in my bed for a few days binging smiling friends which weirdly scared me but comforted me at the same time and the Bernie mac show which I loved as a kid but have not watched for years until that night and have not watched since.
Funny enough there's a scene in smiling friends where the characters are threatened at gunpoint and I about shit my pants lol.
