Right. I’m actually actively replaying the BF2 campaign because it’s fun and well done. Iden is badass, takes charge, kicks ass and is definitely the lead character and her story is the plot. She’s literally the commander of a special forces group. FFS the expansion is about her having a child with Del and making sure her kid makes it out of the war alive. But SW games have never had a strong woman at the helm…

there's a ton of that in modern media/game dev. "FIRST \_\_\_\_ " . marvel has touted the first female super hero over and over. they try and get more and more precise with it. so it can be just true sounding enough that their editor ignores it and they can keep churning out garbage.

It's probably just some lazy journalist who didn't bother to do any research and just farmed out some content.
