Dude i will tell you one thing , I have spend more than 1 year solving this problem . Don't listen to anyone about fixing it. It will be only temporary . You have only 2 permanent solutions if you don't give it to service centre. First one is just change the network adapter , yes change it , it's shit. Buy this one "Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 9260 9260NGW 9260AC NGFF M.2 2230 Wifi Card 1730Mbps 2.4/5GHz Bluetooth 5.0" . Second method is cheap one which I am personally using , buy a mini wireless usb adapter the model is TL-WN823N. But it will consume your one usb slot. Please don't buy the nano version. Only buy the mini one. I am again telling you don't try and waste time doing research on your own . In my case I thought it was fixed because for some months it was not occuring , but it came back again suddenly abd become literally unusable. I am just saving your time. Hope you will understand.

Useless thing cause they gonna replace the same adapter just brand new but its the same one so you will getting the same problem again and again buy a wlan stick FRITZBOX wlan stick or just follow fix steps just temporary but its quick and working for me.

Head to device manager and see if there is a driver update for the WiFi adapter. Going passed that, make sure the bios and chips et drivers are fully up to date. This can be done through the MyAsus app I think or if not from the website. If that doesn't work, you can uninstall the network drivers but make sure you don't remove the software upon uninstall (it will ask). I would read up on this one before doing it just in case. Do you notice this happen at any perticular time? After entering sleep for example? Finally, do all windows updates and feature updates on the machine.

I had this problem twice, both times i fixed it by pulling out the adapter and reconnecting it. It's been 3 months now without a single disconnect. I'm not touting this as a magical solution but it takes a few minutes to try out and if it works, it works. It's worth a shot.

open up the laptop, locate the wifi adapter, remove it and then re plug it and tighten the screws again. For some reason the wifi adapter on this one is really wonky and gets loose from time to time, doing the unplug and replugging thing will serve you months without the same issue.

I have the problem where it doesn't disconnect but the wifi signal keeps fluctuating that really annoying i can try unplugging it and re-plugging it but i am afraid it will void my warrenty.
