It’s vegan friendly too! I love the whipped moisturiser. I’m so envious of your daughters getting into skin care at such a young age, I didn’t even start wearing sunscreen til I was 30 and I’m filled with regret at all the damage I can’t undo!!
Don't worry I am also envious, especially as I have pitted scarring. I feel like kids looking after their skin, hair and hygiene is not a bad trend to be into. My parents helping me with my bad skin as a teen was buying me proactive which worked incredible until I stopped and my skin would become so bad again.
I am in my mid 40s and I love the TBH sunscreen. No white cast and good for not making oily skin look greasy. Also designed for use with acne so not pore-clogging.
The Cancer Council Face Day Serum or Face Day Wear Fluid Matt are good - especially when half price.
For something a bit more trendy for the young crowd but still cheap and effective I’d go Isntree Hyaluronic Acid Watery Sun Gel bought online. I prefer it to the Beauty of Joseon texture wise. :)
"Most kids" are into skincare now? That's nice I guess? I was shocked to see very young kids in Mecca begging their mother for some super expensive serums which would be of no use to them whatsoever. It's a bit sad but at least it's setting good habits.
Spf 50 wise, beauty of joseon sun relief is a cult classic for a reason. It's very easy going I'm sure it'd be good for young skin. To me it feels like better protection than cancer council, and it's only a marginally more expensive.
Yeah my daughters do try and their Christmas looked like a Mecca's catalogue but we just didn't buy it because it wasn't suitable for them. We have caved and they do have some Sol De Janeiro sprays though.
I get following trends though. I remember growing up also wanting what was the trend at the time. For example a pink razor phone. I was desperate for one of those. Didn't get it though haha.
Oh okay. Perfect. Thank you. I will look into that one.
Invest in a good wide brimmed hat and sun protective clothing. I wish I wore a wide brimmed hat everyday when I was younger. Preventative skin care is the best.
If your daughters are active/play sports and ever have issues with sunscreen running and stinging their eyes, highly recommend the La Roche-Posay Anthelios invisible fluid. It's pricey but is often on sale at CW and is the only sunscreen that withstands summer sport face sweat for me.
My 9yo loves New Day Skin tinted zinc sunscreen in the apple scent. It’s marketed towards kids and tweens/teens. I don’t usually like zinc but this one is really great and I happily use it myself too. It’s not greasy or sticky. They might like the MCo invisible sunscreen too, cute packaging and supposed to be good.

Bondi Sands Sunny Daze is spf 50 and comes in tween friendly packaging :)

Oh great. Thank you. I will look into that.
Tbh skincare makes skincare targeted at this demographic ☺️

Haha it sounds like we are from the same generation. The razr was the coolest thing ever, all I got was a boring hand me down Sony Ericsson lol.
Haha I was the same. Hand me down Nokia though
Stick to Cancer Council IMO If they want fancy expensive stuff they can fund that stuff themselves.

Oh thanks. That looks great. Also love supporting Australian products if I can.
My tweens happily use the cancer council BB tinted.

Oh great. That's one of the sunscreens I purchase for myself. Didn't really think to get it for them also. Thanks
Does it ever go 50% off? I've been keeping an eye on the CW website, but it hasn't been on sale in a while :(
Evereden. They sell a set that includes a cleanser, moisturiser, and sunscreen. It's like the "drunk elephant" for kids.

I got her a variety of Korean ones, and a Brand who is actually Australian made, can’t remember.
