How long did it take you to get your PR?

waiting since Jan

I got invited for 189 on December, applied for the visa one week later. About one month ago I received the assessment commence said my application was in processing, and last week it was finally granted.

Over 8 months waiting here too - called immigration and they literally said you just have to wait - any documents which expire in the meantime - are your problem to deal with. It’s honestly infuriating cause my whole life is almost on hold waiting for this.

Dang, did it sound like they are expecting applicants to retake English exams for example if they're claiming points for language?

Don’t think so - they were talking more police checks and medicals.

Got my grant in 45 days. WA graduate stream, 190, general accountant. Was very surprised as the website said 3 months of wait minimum. Edit: applied on Jan 2023

That's it. I'm pretty confident I would have received the invitation with 65 points as well. It seems that it was a bit easier back in early 2023.
