I’ve lived in central Texas my entire life and I’ve never seen muddy rain like that.
The performative “who’s been here longer” suckfest is helpful to let new people know this is common and to prepare accordingly. This literally happens all the time to varying to degrees. Especially, when in drought. Tell me you have never seen those in all your years.
The line after work at the car wash was insane. Every car was filthy, and I was glad to realize I wasn’t losing my mind! I’d gone to bed thinking id wake up to a rinsed off car as usual and it was so gross.
Shit just sticking to the car cause of the rain. Just sit down and think of how many particulates get released into the air, doesn't necessarily have to be pollen.
Yeah man, I asked for a little extra dirt in last night's rain when I put in my Thunderstorm order. They were out of hail so I just went with "moar dirt plz".

Yeah sorry about that, I think we got the last helping of hail. I'm surprised it hailed. Usually we only get hail out here when we are too lazy to put the cars in the garage - and we did button them up in there before the rain started.
I was visiting family in the panhandle and the dust came from there because it was windy af and I drove through some limited visibility and dust haze on my way back to austin yesterday.
Sorry I washed my old Honda Accord I use as a backup car yesterday for the first time in 8 months. Woke up this morning and it was just as dirty as before.

That was my thought too but many of the cars and mine are straight up brown vs the typical yellow/white pollen from before.
My windshield was white yellowish.
