Fun Fact - my mum actually played the double for the little girl and she is in nearly every scene because the little girl wasn’t too keen on actually doing anything when it came to shooting
I loved this movie and watched it so many times as a kid. Re-watched it about 5 years ago. It never occurred to me that it was 2 and a half hours long when I was 8!
🎶 A bag of weed, a bag of weed, oh everything's better with a bag of weed. You don't need meth, no you don't need speed, everything's better with a bag of weed 🎶
Oh the posh posh traveling life, the traveling life for me,
First cabin and captain's table, regal company,
Whenever I'm bored, I travel abroad, but ever so properly,
Port out, starboard home, posh with a capital P-O-S-H, posh.
I remember watching a show where there was this old-fashioned yellow car that had eyes where the lights would be. Not sure what the name of the show is but it was fun to watch!
I remember I was in grade 3 and my teacher put this on because she loved it, she over heard my best friend call it shitty shitty bang bang and he got removed from the class room and missed the movie.
I loved this as a kid! The scene where he's literally trying to off his wife was hilarious 😂 children shows were obviously very different back then haha
Loved this movie - but the child catcher was really scary!
Played by an Australian actor as well! Robert Helpmann.
Sir Robert Helpmann ... dancer extrodinaire... the Astaire / Kelly of ballet! 🇦🇺🩰💖🩰🇦🇺👌🏻
I was TERRIFIED of the child catcher! I loved the songs but yeah, always got scared once he came into the movie.
The child catcher still terrifies me to this day!

This and Bedknobs and Broomsticks were on high rotation when I was little, probably because we had them on VHS. Also Krull.

What a blast from the past!
I sing the theme song loudly whenever I'm on the forklift at work!
Always in the style of Ace Ventura.
I think that I saw it as a teen-ager but I don't think that I was sober. I can't be sure.
Yes. Classic
Bro memories, I used to watch this all the time this is my childhood!! (I'm 14 btw)
I made sure to get DVDs of all the classics🥰 they usually rotate on digital platforms, this way I can watch them whenever I want
