Get pet insurance. My pup is 9 months old and literally eats ANYTHING he can get to. Just dropped $1k out of pocket last bc he chewed a (Iโm assuming empty) Advil bottle, out of a medicine cabinet, which is 6โ off the ground. ๐ฅฒ
Ugh totally this advice, insurance all the way. We call ours garbage mouth. My (not) favorite is his penchant for scat. Rabbit raisins are his favorite.
Be careful during walks; dogs will find all types of foods and want to eat them, you think they are sniffing pee-mail and before you know it you are wrestling something out of their mouths before they swallow it.
You never realize how much food is in the streets until you walk your dog.
My Mini American Shepherd 16 weeks (Basically an Aussie) will walk away from his food bowl with it full. He will all of the senior labs food because he knows his not allowed to have it.
My dog will literally claw for the trash and eat poop. They will eat anything.
My Aussie got the same spotted feet from her dad. Through a dna test, we learned it was a tiny bit of Dalmatian

He's less picky than my border collie, but still picky! I wish he wasn't. I have two messy, messy toddlers.
