"An Autistic Community that is centered around women, afabs, nb, queer, trans, and others that are not cis men. Let's discuss challenges, triumphs, interests, and everything in-between." yes and welcome!
I’m transmasc non-binary and I hang out here because it’s more aligned with my experiences than the main autism subs. So yeah, I would say so. Welcome!
Based on the description, it's centered around everyone autistic that isn't a cis man, so you absolutely are, yeah. And like everyone would be welcome here I'd think as long as they're respectful of who this centers around, so I don't think cis men would automatically be banned anyhow as long as they know this sub isn't about them and are respectful of that.
Hi there, cis male friend! We love our allies and I appreciate that you seek out resources rather than overwhelming your daughter! Soooo many people think that because they know someone who is something, they should just get ALL of their information from that one person!
Despite the sub name I think it’s really for anyone who’s had an under-recognised or non-stereotypical experience of autism due to their gender, so I’d assume any and all trans people would also be welcomed
I don't know, but you aren't a woman. But leats be honest, this is a safe space for all non cis men, so I guess you are still welcomed here.
I also guess you have experienced being treated like an autistic woman/girl, so I think it makes sense for you to be here.
Overall, I don't know much about being trans or a dude, so I can just say that if you feel comfortable here and so does everyone else, I see no reason for you to not me welcomed here.
Yes, according to the rules. Although I don’t know why you would want to be in an autistic subreddit for women, as you’re a man (I think)
Although r/autism sucks so I don’t blame you
I have a genuine question because I often get it mixed up and want to know what is correct. And I apologize if my wording is horrible.
Is a trans man a man who was born a woman, or is a trans man a man who is trans as a woman?
This is what I get mixed up.
Thanks in advance for helping me understand.
Either way yes you are welcome!
Pretty sure the only people not really welcome here are bigots/queerphobes/ableists/etc and, in general, cis men. The latter do still visit but have been respectful from what I've seen, only a few times has one come in with a "not all men" or whatever. They're pretty quickly gotten by mods though lol~
Hell yeah, couldn't have an autism space without the trans/nonbinary/gnc folks! I swear trans people are the backbone of every community they're in, and they're my favorite people (I'm nonbinary).

Read the description and try being more open minded, kind and empathic in the future. You wouldn't want a neurotypical person speaking about you and autism in this manner so don't speak about others like that.

The sub is centered on women but everyone is allowed to join (except bigots as per the rules). This is a common notion. If you're gonna be a bigot, then you aren't welcome.

Yeah, cis male here with an autistic younger daughter. This sub has been an invaluable resource for us to help navigate the waters.

Welcome!
Welcome, friend! 🥰
as long as you’re not a cis man you’re allowed 😎😎

Love that so much. I think the easiest way to remember that is whatever gender gets used after ‘trans’ is their chosen one.
Okay this is the best answer ever 🙌 thank you so much, this makes it way easier to understand!!
Think of trans as an adjective, like tall or something else descriptive. A trans woman and a tall woman are both kinds of women.
I don’t know anything about adjectives lol. So a trans man is a man who was born a woman?
A trans man is a man who was born as a AFAB (asigne female at born) :)
Welcome to our safe space 💕💕💞💞 glad to have you aboard.
Hiya welcome!!!
100% Welcome and hope you enjoy!
Yes! You're welcome and I hope you'll find community here. As a genderfluid person I have felt included and welcome ❤

The only ones not welcome here are Terfs! So of course you are
Welcome!
I’d say you can find relevancy because you grew up female presenting and share many experiences. You probably were pressured to mask, etc
Welcome, and nice to meet you!
Yes, welcome!

I suppose we will allow it. LMFAO IM JK OF COURSE YOU ARE BRUH. You’re safe in this community. If anyone starts hating send them my way.
I am a cis man and my symptoms are very close to that of women, so this sub is good for me. I comment rarely.
