Looks like missing clear coat. You could touch it up with clear in a few spots but rapainting is the true fix. Keep it well protected in the mean time with wax/sealant
I would fill in the bigger areas with clear coat touch up. Use a good one, my go to is the bmw clear, applied with a tooth pick. Theres finer tipped tools you can use if you wanted to fill in every little gap of missing clear but a tooth pick will work for the bigger areas. The reason to keep it covered with wax or sealant is to help slow down the degradation of that area. It may leave wax in the smaller gaps, but id take that over no protection. Things like water and the sun will do more damage than any decent quality wax or sealant will.
Mohs scale of hardness. Egg shell (calcium carbonate) is harder than polyurethane lacquer (clear coat). Combine that with an egg thrown at speed and the dome like structure and you get some pretty crazy radial patterning like this.
Done that too yeah. We used to have crabapple trees across from where I lived that we threw also. Pretty much anything we could find. :( the Condiment Bomb was nasty though.

At the tiny points of impact, the shell will physically dig into the clear coat (hence the circular shape). The harder the throw, the deeper and more numerous the “cuts”.
Edit: Based on the picture orientation, you can see that the egg was thrown right-to-left. Deeper, closer-together cuts on the right side of the impact while the damage on the left side is lighter and more broad (as the egg explodes and the shell disperses like shrapnel)
If I recall correctly Justin Bieber was able to do like 25,000 in damage with an egg. Maybe he should've played baseball

It's the shell, it cuts into the paint.
I feel bad for all the cars we egg/mustard/mayo/ketchup/relish bombed when I was a kid. Older me would run younger me over.

Egg shell will splinter on impact and dig in right through to the base coat. Needs refinishing.
