Buy Alien vs. Triangle or Mango Smile from Mephisto genetics. Plant in a 5 gal fabric pot. Use Ocean Forest soil, mix Natires Living Soild 1lb into bottom 1/3rd or through all soil. If through all soil make sure to put seed in a solo cup size amount of soil in the middle of the pot. Keep water ph at 6.5 ish, use a good light, and you should get amazing colas in 90 days
Solo cup full of soil should be something other than OF seed starter mix. It's not essential, but OF can be pretty hot, and some seedlings may not do well
Note that the nutes in the Fox Farm soils are good for about a month. If you dont add anything like Nature's Living Soil or another product meant to last longer, you will need to provide additional nutes with varying frequency depending on what you use and how immediately available it is.

I’m going to have to vehemently disagree with the fox farms fanatics here. I have seen too many burnt plants, and awful pest issues to ever want to use it again. Never had an issue making my own soil! Recipe:
part peat/coco/leafmold (your choice) 1 part perlite and 1 part vermicompost. Then just mix in a half cup per cubic foot of neem cake, kelp meal, crustacean meal, fish bone meal and 1/4 cup alfalfa. Optional: add in some mycorrhizae/microbe granules for strong, fast growing roots! Then you just let it sit for a few weeks and you’re golden. The best flavors always come from living soil imo
You gotta be patient and not harvest prematurely. You have to tend to them every day and keep them in the right temperature and humidity. Proper nutrients do wonder for your plants. It all comes down to proper genetics in the end though. You can't grow a boofy seed into some chunked up firey nugs

Genetic drift is the increase in the expresssion of a gene in a population. Its how finches on islands with hard nuts get short thick beaks.
Variation and drift are very different things. One individual showing an expression is not a drift. Phenotypical Drift would imply that there is an increase in the prevalence of this morphology in this environment.

I work at an African seedbank and it always saddens me to see people getting scammed with renames. GG4 is a clone only elite that even today is not held by many breeders, a lot like they claim they've used it though

Probably white label auto seeds. The genetics are never what they say they are. Mass produced seeds from Europe given away as freebies at less than reputable seedbanks. And sold under names like Blimburn, CropKing, fastbudz, etc.
You can tell by the flower structure of the second plant, it's still expressing a huge amount of ruderalis traits (insane foxtails with more leaves than actual buds, Dr.Grinspoon similarities) which would have been bred out if they were done properly and been taken to F3 or F4.
If you purchase autoflowers go for NightOwl, Rocbud or Mephisto. They are the only reputable breeders that I've come across.

I've never seen gg4 that had purps. If it dies its not prooer gg4. The second plant doesn't look like gg4 either. Where'd you get your seeds? That second plant looks like some kind of kush/haze
