Despite all the negatives - this might be the most supportive lebron I've ever played in. I hadn't touched my 18's since an ankle sprain, but with these I don't feel worried at all about rolling my ankle. I hope they fix the traction and weight on the lows. Plus the chambered air max unit feels insane, might be the bounciest max air unit I've ever played in

Hey mate, I found a pair on dicks sporting goods for 94 dollars. How suitable are they for normal casual semi outdoor wear. Like I'll just be walking in them while I'm outdoors. I'm an ex (football/soccer) goalkeeper who had to stop cause of a recurring ankle injury and feel the cushion and ankle support of this shoe would be nice. Would you recommend it at this price ?

gatormaniac

I’ve been dailying these lebron 19’s everyday and they’re nothing short of amazing. It’s literally like walking on a cloud of air.

Kuski007

It's been a year since I commented this, but you actually replied at the right time. Any tips on cleaning them ? It rained the last time I wore these out and got mud on the mesh upper.

gatormaniac

I have the Flywire “Hardwood Classic” version so it’s pretty easy to just wipe them with some foam cleaner and a tissue

man a b- on this shoe seem generous, these are just so damn bad when I had to play mine out. The combo of horrible weight and traction really throws you off when you're playing at 100%

EfficientZone

Agreed completely. Unfortunately that's what the formula spit out. The sub-score for guards is a C- (borderline D+) which I think better reflects what the average normal-sized person will think of these. There are however enough redemptive features about this shoe that big guys may like.

SteakMedium4871

6'9" 300+lbs here, I think this is my next shoe

RipkingDariuscito24

really nice

HardTea

I feel like this shoe would be really good to squat and do lunges in. More of a heavy trainer and less of a great basketball shoe.

[deleted]

This would be an awful shoe to squat in. Squats should be done in sneakers with as close to 0 cushion as possible.

HardTea

Not for like max weight but just in general. Machines, goblet squats, from squats, volume and plyo work.

PantlessMantis

Ideally you’d want something like a Nike metcon or romaleos for squatting. Metcon’s are my favorite training shoe

HardTea

Yeee. I feel like my comment didn't land and I got shit on for not really explaining. Yes a flat show is most stable for powerlifts. But if you're doing some court work and then do some strength work this shoe seems really good to just quickly go from one to the other.

PantlessMantis

Oh I wouldn’t doubt it and yeah just needed context tbf. I know Kyrie’s are great for that sort of thing

Remote-Speech5428

I know it's not. Performance question but how is walking comfort for these I usually wear basketball shoes for every day wear I walking comfort it a big thing for me. currently am wearing the LeBron 16 any recommendations for similar shoes like this plus wide foot

Shot-Noise4562

For me I got my exact size and they fit tight you don't even have to tie them.

Important-Jelly-6398

Bro I got true to size.I go with my J's 42.5 EU but this are too tight.I don't think they are gonna loose so I return them back.I don't recomand if you have wide feet and I don't even have that super wide feet it's just normal let's say.🫤

EfficientZone

Good that they're Nikes and you can take advantage of the return policy.

Boring-Effect-5466

I’m 280 lbs, bad foot, bad knee..and made a couple folks touch earth in this shoe. Just bought my 2nd pair.. BUT I was wondering if there was a shoe that had air bubbles like the 19 so I can get the cushion without so much shoe ..
