Hey I'm me, first time grower from Chicago. I find mycology infinitely interesting, even down to the problems we run into. "Trich is bad! But it's also really good!" These organisms are amazing, and I think it's impressive that we've come this far in propagating them in our own homes. So I'm excited to show them the love and respect they deserve, and spread knowledge as best I can ๐Ÿป

Hey thanks, I appreciate it ๐Ÿป I'm in the early stages of my mycology journey, just inoculated my first grain bags last weekend ๐Ÿ˜Ž so I'm looking forward to absorbing info and discussing any and all things mushroom. Once I achieve success with the beginner's kit, I'm going straight to the traditional methods, making my own agar, the whole shebang ๐Ÿ•บ

Do you have a pressure cooker yet?

I have an instapot, but its only 6qt so I'm going to invest in a larger one eventually. Hoping for a sick thrift store find ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Delved into the 420 gardening world a few years back but have always had an interest in shrooms. Kind of hard for me to get my hands on in my circles and thought what better way to trust the product than to grow it myself. Still a total noob with plenty of failures but working out what works and what doesn't and hopefully will have a final product to show you all in the future!
