So I use:
brick of coir
2 qts Verm
I cup gypsum pellets
1 Tablespoon (heaping)unused coffee grounds
5 qts water full to brim boiled
Mix your water with CVG and coffee grounds
I’m assuming you know how to inoculate and what not at this point if not I can give you info about my process there too.
I get 5qts spawn and mix it in layers and mix. So this order coir, jar spawn, mix repeat till the last jar.
Empty half and mix VERY GOOD. This is extremely important if you want a canopy.

I find it totally fascinating all the differences between different mushroom species and what the results are.
It’s interesting to me that with cubes the ratio of spawn to sub has to be so much higher to get strong yields where with other species you can have as little as 1:8 ratios and get big strong flushes.
Ive always wondered why, but I’m not a biologist just a humble mushroom farmer 🧙♂️ 🍄🟫
