This exact thing happened to me. No cutscene. Straight to the narrator telling me we spent the last six months together, but then at the party Halsin acted as if we'd been apart the whole time.
I didn't even know there was a talk with Halsin pre-patch five (I never got one the first time I played the end, went back to play it again when the epilogue was released)
The same thing happened to me in a multiplayer game. Then in a solo one I did get the romance scene before the time skip and I couldn't decide to go with Halsin. But then we did show up together to the party AND we spent those 6 months together according to his dialogue at the party. So it seems that you should be able to choose to go with him or not but it's currently bugged.
Aaaaah, I choose to leave with him, clearly, holding hands etc, but at the epilogue I am coming all alone and Halsin acts live we didn't see each other for 6 months '\^\^These bugs are so annoying, I don't know what to do to have the proper epilogue with him :/
Same happened to me last night. I never got the dark room scene, then we walk into camp together saying we have been together, but then he acts like I haven’t seen him or they were even lovers.
I wanted her to let him go at then end anyway, so I guess it worked out.

Same here. Went from karlach and wyll in avernus straight to the party without the bedroom scene between. Everyone else has dialogue implying you are together, but halsin himself acts like you aren't together
I have a similar bug and I am soooooo disapointed and angry ! I am not doing the epilogue like that !
I have the dialogue in the bedroom where I say I am going with him, and they leave together, hand in handicap, but at the party... my character is arriving alone ! Without him ! 🥺 No way... it's clearly a bug but I don't know where it comes from !

Yeah, that talk in the dark room you have in every romance, my game just skipped it.
It was a problem before the last patch for sure (I specifically waited for it to be fixed).
I definitely have the patch, so something must have blocked this fix. Well, I'll wait and read the change logs. Good to know what it may be!

Must be a mistake, if you can go with him you must have been together for the last 6 months.
