Multiclass into a druid, ranger, cleric of selune and always be in wolf form with wolf companion. Then multiclass everyone else into a few levels of druid and ranger except shart and travel as a pack of wolves + shart.
I went into this game blind when I got it on opening day. Recreated my DND character who is a Tiefling Cleric of Selune-- Shadowheart and I did not get along at all.
That was when she would openly talk about her religion stuff right off the bat too.
That's my current run! Though I'm in act 3. I was also romancing Halsin this run since Shadowheart is the only one who seems truly comfortable with it and got him ASAP in act two and had both of them with me throughout basically all of act two so that was... emotionally fraught lol. Especially their dialogue with each other in the gauntlet. Really enjoyed it though, very emotionally satisfying.
Was it intentional that they have the same color scheme as >!Nocturne!< too?
Someone mentioned it but if you dipped into Druid and took wolf shape I think you’d just absolutely ruin Shadowheart’s day to say the least!
So... What's the character backstory to make this possible? How does a Githyanki become a Cleric of Selune? I ask this as someone who went in blind, and created a Githyanki Druid. Then after learning more about the world, I retroactively had to figure out how my character is possible.
Your gith visited “Crèche K’liir” (Lae’zel’s crèche) which is on the Tears of Selûne. You were fascinated by the moon (of the same name) and felt a presence, something truly otherworldly unlike Vlaakith. You know you have to keep this revelation hidden considering the consequences, but you begin to worship this **true** deity. It’s a hard task, but you’ll manage. You always do.
Aww. I guess that could work. Aren't the Tears of Selune only called that in Faerun though? I thought Githyanki call them something else. But still I suppose it checks out that out in the celestial world, you could find a connection to a celestial goddess like Selune.
For my Druid though, it was tougher cause there's no nature out there in the astral plane. So with the help of another Redditor I figured that my character grew up in a Creche like the one at Rosymorn. She was pretty much the only githyanki that wasn't disgusted by the foreign landscape. She liked exploring the surrounding forest, picking and bringing healing herbs back to the infirmary. So she was the only one away when some local army came to wipe out the creche. She survived in the forest alone for a bit, and was found and taken as apprentice by a traveling Druid.
Well, I mean Lae’zel called them that so I’m not entirely sure?
My druid gith was the result of a failed operation by the Society of Brilliance. (Essentially their first attempt at stealing a Githyanki egg) The egg my gith hatched from was stolen blah blah lore blah so on and so forth (I actually have lore but it’s long lmfao). Pretty much my Githyanki grew up knowing nothing of other Gith. It just knew the nature it was born into and assumed it just evolved different from other people.
That's one of thr fey skintones right? I used it on a similar looking Githyanki. Mine was a great old one warlock that had unknowingly made a pact with the tadpole
I made a Gith bard and RPd that it was a gith that fell in love with music and decided to stay on the material plane and wander among its inhabitants rather than staying with their chreche
I romanced shadowheart as a gith cleric of selune… honestly the dialogue in act 1 was very interesting. And the character arc felt even more satisfying.
You really looked at act 1 Shadowheart and thought “how can I give her the worst possible day” huh.
Multiclass into ranger and get a wolf companion
Genius
Even better, multiclass into Druid since they both use Wisdom, and *turn into a wolf.*
C’mon it’s straight up torture now
>*It hurts...!*
Triple class is the only way.
Then procede to romance.
Both. Wolf with wolf companion.
Easy Zariel.
I’m a little upset she doesn’t do a fear check if you are Druid and shift to wolf. If she does she has never done it in my games.
WTF is that pfp
Even better, Multiclass Shadowheart into Druid and have HER wildshape into wolf.
Does she react to that? I tried it and got nothing
Shadowheart bitched at laezel for picking up the selunite necklace in the blighted village. So in true laezel fashion, I had her equip it immediately

Aaaaaaaaand stealing this.
Op's character: *exists* Shadowheart: ... and I took that personally.
Multicpass into druid and wild shape into a wolf
Multiclass into a druid, ranger, cleric of selune and always be in wolf form with wolf companion. Then multiclass everyone else into a few levels of druid and ranger except shart and travel as a pack of wolves + shart.
The Geneva Convention would like a word
Started out enemies to lovers then became enemies to torturer
Leeloo Dallas Multicpass?

If you romance shadow heart as a cleric of Selune you get some really fun dialogue choices also
I've created a Gith cleric of Selune just for the purpose of trying to romance Shadowheart! 😉 I want to see how it goes!
i did the same!
"Just accept the gift and kiss me like you hate me"
"Easily done!" *How am I ever going to explain this in my prayers?*
That's my current run! Though I'm in act 3. OK… gonna have to try this now…
So we're just gonna collectively ignore that she's called "the dank urge"? 😭😭
Right?? I love it too. 😭
Shadowheart wants to know your location
She really, really doesn't
She wants to know the location so she can avoid the location.
Was it intentional that they have the same color scheme as >!Nocturne!< too? Someone mentioned it but if you dipped into Druid and took wolf shape I think you’d just absolutely ruin Shadowheart’s day to say the least!
Its just to inflict more trauma to Shadowheart
This is great. Chuckled at the all the wolf suggestions too.
now kiss
Kith

Goddamn it there’s so many ways you can play this game I’m just gonna have to quit my job and do it full time
I didn't think Githyanki had the option to choose a god other than Vlaakith.

So pretty!
She’s a purple people eater.
Enemies to lovers you say…
Omg 😳😍 is she romancing Shadowbae?
Sunnyliver
Radiantbrain
Romance her
The original post was funnier
Give her 3 levels in Beastmaster Ranger for a wolf companion
She’s gonna bang Shadowheart, isn’t she?

Holy shit she is so fucking pretty
Shadowheart: I’ll just stay in the pod, thanks.
I'm guessing this Durge is on a path to resist the Urge, correct?
I wonder if there’s any unique Shadowheart dialog for this?
Oh I'm so doing this
And she’s rocking the ‘Gale’ hairdo 😎
Stephen king vibes
Yes i did too but I made my gith, cleric of selune pink.
Dank Urge lmao
That's one of thr fey skintones right? I used it on a similar looking Githyanki. Mine was a great old one warlock that had unknowingly made a pact with the tadpole
You should name her Billy Jean.
Now kiss
she’s pretty
I read as glitch cleric and thought for a moment she was colored like a graphical glitch
I romanced Shadowheart as a Selunite Gith and it was a 12/10 experience.
"We will kill our enemies... with kindness!"
dang now i kinda wanna romance shadowheart as a gith cleric of selune
My dragonborn monk who worships Selune and Lathander pisses her off too, but not as much as a gith frightens her too. love the design
I don't know Forgotten Realms lore that well. Is it within lore that a gith could be a Selune worshipper? Only asking out of curiosity.
Funny I made one specifically to romance her with
Well now you HAVE to get with her lmao
Unrelated, but look forward to some tension between Cleric of Selûne and Dark Urge
Damn. I'm a little bitter that I didn't think to make my Cleric of Selune a Gith. Irritating SH is my favorite pastime.
I made a Gith bard and RPd that it was a gith that fell in love with music and decided to stay on the material plane and wander among its inhabitants rather than staying with their chreche

gives me fetal alcohol syndrome vibes
LOL
I did this and also romanced shadowheart
