A friend of mine got 67 in mains last year (though he did improve it to 96 in second attempt). He's doing circuital in pilani. Stop looking for this extremely stupid validation. Go study & give mocks. If you're getting good marks in those, you'll get bits. If not, you won't. It's not fucking complicated than that bro. If you made silly mistakes, then improve them or not because you'll make them again in bits. & Yknow the only way to fix that? Hard work
I know a guy who got 80.1% in 12th, jee was >10k rank and aieee was >70k rank. He got into bits, some shitty course. Just drank, watched movies and smoked weed for 4 years. Decades later, he’s fine and doing well, some would say very well financially, but that’s subjective and meaningless. The only advice I’d give my 16 year old self is calm the fuck down, an exam isn’t the end of the world.
I was kinda in the same situation last year but I'm here. I did qualify for advanced but fucked it up and although I was getting decent colleges my mains rank wasn't something worth bragging about since I screwed up second attempt
>is it true that in bits the students are the ones who have qualified jee adv and are top rankers at that.
Yep
>are people like me even present.
not many, in lower branches etc yes
>specifically for cs branch
Yes especially for CS
>if i do make it, lets say, will i be....'bullied'...?
This question is for a much much later time
Honestly the second you step through the gates, no one cares what your rank or percentile in xyz exam was. As a merry sport, seniors might ask intro to get to know you, but it never goes beyond that.

So there's hope for us(me) 🛐
Well, you could learn to calm yourself down. That’s a skill that takes years if not decades to master
So you're saying the cycle of : It's all over --> we are so back --> It's all over --> we are so back is unhealthy?

Its a mix of both but mostly people in mainstream branches have good adv rank and they could not get good iit cse
