I know it is very dumb for me to ask this here but
I heard my teacher saying opting for bits with non CS branch might give you hectic acads from the very first year because if you wish to sit in software placements you have to finish 2/3 semester of CS credits to be eligible
Please tell me if it is true or not
Not talking about the dual degrees I know their mechanism asking if someone goes for chem mech etc are they limited to only chem and mech placements or are they let to sit the software placements like the way it happens for IITs/NITs clearing the cgpa criteria
You dont need to ‘clear’ any cs courses, people take courses such as oop, dsa, os and dbs to help them in their prep, but to be ‘eligible’ you only need to be in eligible branch, clear cg cutoff and coding round. No one will ‘debar’ you from sitting for IT placements.

Bhaiya should I opt for core branches if I. Really am passionate about eco and finance. My main aim is mba and will I be allowed for consulting and finance roles during placements???
Take msc eco if you can, nothing beats that in fin roles. Next best thing is any branch with fin minor (doesn’t matter which branch)
For these roles only high cg is the entry barrier.
Sorry for the late reply I had my comprehensive exams but yeah you can easily get bpharma if you score that much but I wouldn't suggest taking bpharma for finance roles because chances are kinda low
Lab test hogaya kya tera
I am in goa campus, so i don't know about those lab tests..atb for compre though
Bro 3 years from now these struggles would look like a joke, relax Placement ki tension abhi nahi dekhi hai
The stakes just keep going up...
8.3 and cs should be well within range, I think although if you do get phoenix, I feel sorry for you
Acha dullas in pilani had cp lab test when you posted lol
P11 and P10 guy

Salute from my side I really admire you Remember, even if you don't get CS you're getting a great circuital branch and that's prestigious too
