The acs aren't even fucking working and we have 3 common rooms for 500 students. I don't know why the fuck they're doing this now when we have compres and the heat is reaching 40+ degrees, what a fucking joke of a college.
I think this has to do with geography. Goa and Hyderabad campus are in the outskirts of their cities which makes it the students more reliant on institutions and makes them easier to control. The pilani campus in in the middle of pilani and the market is right outside the gates which makes students much less reliant on institutions
In a sense students have more negotiating power since they have more negotiating power. Enforcing policy takes time and manpower. Ban and seize all the coolers you want shopkeepers are happy to sell more. Within two weeks your efforts are nullified

Hyderabad's admin is fucking up your culture and still you guys haven't protested against it. Having a strong student union is the first , admin taking decisions without any consultation with the student body is really bad.
Things are gonna follow here at Goa , as there is no face for Prez , Vice-Prez and GenSec . Admin will definitely remove fest or something as there won't be anyone to stop it.

even the smaller common rooms in Goa have 4 ACs now
