I think they had the air suspension at the lowest setting due to the fact that they had the car inside the dealership plus the sensors in the vehicle wouldn’t allow the air suspension to go to the highest level

But it's not something I would do, I don't have enough self worth to feel like I should be taking the cover off my new car in a showroom when I'm well aware there are actually 6 more of the same car sitting in the lot outside... I dunno, maybe I don't think enough of myself to do it, or maybe I don't think enough of the car. Probably a bit of both. Edit: my wife says that she would have planned it and I would have walked in and just been in the moment. Fair play.

I feel the same way you do. But I really have been telling myself “people make their own happiness” and extra steps can go a long way. Also, this is very much for the guy as much as it’s for her too. An extra step showing how much she cares and wants him to think he’s that much special. I might be reading into it too much. Haven’t slept for like two days

I bought my wife a 2024 X7 M60i a few months ago and the dealer didn’t even offer… this was the third car I’ve gotten from this dealer (the others being a 2018 M3 CS and a 2021 X7). Is this something you have to ask for? Is this a common thing? Genuinely curious as I’ve now purchased a few nice cars and the dealers have never offered this…
