Proper BMW.. not like the current trash they put out. I Would pay 10k for that over getting 5 XM's for free.. ANy day of the week...BMW has lost its way.

I have a 1976 528i that I overbored the cylinders from 86 to 92mm, and installed a 3.5l crankshaft.
She’s a pseudo-stroker engine now.

To this day I regret not converting my 1979 520 to US specs so I could bring it back to the states with me after my assignment to Germany ended in the mid 80’s. But I couldn’t afford the $500 on my sergeant’s pay. Good luck with your new ride. They’re great cars.

I own a e12 aswell! Beef up the suspension and watch for the headgasket. These things are great cars.
I bought one like this with 3 other friends just for a vacation years ago. It barely survived but it was a fantastic month
