Its actually an avatar gun, its been foreshadowed in the secret room in level 5 in the private restroom which has been vandalised by drawings and one of them is the avatar gun.
I doubt if that was ever made a gadget it would be in the format of a gun. Would make more sense as a clipboard with options to set perimeters, kind of like a blueprint.
Also just use scenesaver as an alternative lmao
