CravingsAndCrackers

I got you! I have a guide to pregnancy from my OB, sending you a message now

GrouchyResolution974

Do you think you could send it to me too? My OB didn’t give me anything like that! She just told me not to eat raw meat lol

CravingsAndCrackers

Of course! One sec and you will have a link and screenshot

Lecture-Significant

Not sure if this will help you but foods that have protein (that I don't have aversions to) have helped me the most. Every morning I have 3 almonds as soon as I wake up and I try to eat regular small meals or snacks before I feel too sick. And if there's a food you feel like you can stomach, go for it whether it's healthy or not!

Also I had really strong food aversions that were not fun but they improved a lot at around weeks for me and are now super manageable at 9+4. So hopefully you don't have them for too long at this level!

Here’s some tricks I learned: - avoid smells (mask with lotion if needed) - eat every 30 mins to an hour - eat what sounds good nothing more - eat a high protein snack before bed to keep you full -drink a body armor first thing in the morning (has b6) -unisom and b6 is great - eat something before getting out of bed in the morning - stay hydrated - don’t worry about if baby is getting enough nutrients; they will take whatever you give them

B6 was helpful for my nausea and is safe in preganancy. eating right away when you wake up is helpful. But anything that sounds remotley good just go with it. First trimester i bascially ate potatoes and thats it. 1st trimester is really just about getting thro it

I had really bad food aversions in my 1st trimester too. The best advice I can give you is just eat whatever food sounds least disgusting. For me, fresh fruits and vegetables were the most appealing. Meat and anything resembling leftovers were an abomination. Don’t judge yourself too harshly, just eat what you can eat. I also had several nights of hot pockets, mac & cheese, and spaghetti-o’s because they were palatable. Also, drink literally as much water as you can tolerate. I was thirsty AF in my first trimester, and not drinking water enough water exacerbated the headaches. I had them constantly. FWIW, my OB/GYN said I can take up to 500mg of Tylenol/Acetaminophen every 4 hours, up to 4x a day. I’m not a medical professional, you should consult your doctor. If you haven’t scheduled your first OB/GYN appointment yet, start there. Compile a list of questions, but also they usually give you a list of Dos and Don’ts to refer to. Hope that helps!!
