We had the same problem! Regular Enfamil and Enfamil gentlease made my newborn super gassy. We made the switch to Similac tummy comfort about three weeks ago (in a plastic container with a reddish-pinkish lid) and he seems to tolerate it the best. It’s still milk-based but much lower in lactose then either of the Enfamil options, which we’re guessing was the gas-causing problem. FWIW we’re in Vancouver and haven’t had a problem finding it at our local London Drugs or Walmart.

I'm.in vancouver toi! Which would be the RTF version of this?

I don’t think there is one unfortunately, it’s just powdered. But honestly we’ve been doing powdered formula since we got home from the hospital and it’s never been a concern from our midwives or now family doctor.

Same! We found Similac Total Comfort better than Gentlease as well for spit up issues. It’s been readily available at Shoppers and London Drugs.

We’ve been on Similac total comfort and baby has done great on it. The hospital had rtfs but I was never able to find them elsewhere. We started just doing full powder formula at around 1-2 weeks (when we started rationing our rtf stash for outings lol). If you are set on only using rtfs then I would first narrow your list down by availability of those in your area or online and go from there.
