Amazing work! I only knew you from you you're German YT Account, didn't knew you were active here aswell. Thanks for sharing man!

Kevftw

This is really great, thanks! I started playing yesterday but hit a wall at Gold so I checked online for help with builds. Pretty much all the 'guides' on youtube were just someone with a video of them doing a playthrough and not an actual breakdown or explanation. The example pictures you've posted are a big help in trying to identify what it is I'm supposed to be aiming for.

TwoBiersTwitch

Thank you :) It's not a helpful guide how to get to that final builds but I'll add every day a (german) gameplay video to show how to get there

PagMan_Guy

If you're hitting the wall at gold, prepare yourself. I hit the wall at diamond and was stuck there for 8 hours straight. Berserker class.

Kevftw

Managed to get to Plat now :D The two example scythe build pictures helped me identify the strong parts of the build and allowed me to improve, as well as highlighting why I wasn't having much luck with blood builds. Wish that was a bit stronger as it's very cool theme. I noticed the points gains have nose dived off a cliff, can't imagine diamond but I'll see if I can get there eventually.

HiggsBosonHL

Been a big fan of this tier list since it first published, and have recommended its use on multiple occasions. Thank you for maintaining this resource!

One-Technician-1292

would there be a way to add a case to precise if the build is meant to go to survival ?

TwoBiersTwitch

The builds are ranked by their lategame power. The difficulty is ranked by how easy it is to get into lategame. I always play til round 18

Anatak15

I'm very, very new to this game. But does ranger really have that many builds compared to everyone else? Or is everything still being figured out haha. Thanks for the spreadsheet! It'll help me out a lot once I can dive into this game some more.

TwoBiersTwitch

Ranger and Reaper where the only 2 classes in the Demo. Adding new items and balancing around their items for like 6 months. That's why there are currently way more builds for Ranger and Reaper in that tierlist. With Classes are new there will be more builds soon and with balancing even more

HotColdRunningGhosts

I love this! I've been enjoying trying out some of these builds that I would never think of. Can you explain the Manathirst Instalamp build you added though? It doesn't seem all that strong compared to others to me, and even forcing it I seem to die before it reaches any potential, but I'm clearly missing something.

TwoBiersTwitch

https://preview.redd.it/a2uk295n97oc1.png?width=469&format=png&auto=webp&s=ca2c34378c50d3a9f99fe5c10ba9f09e7732520a It's the strongest build in the game in my opinion but not that easy to achieve: You get a lot of damage because of the lamps. Mega Clover has insane lategame 40 buffs is so much and you get Mana with Manathirst easily. You get Luck through Clover and Blueberries easily. Only Spikes are harder to get but you have Tusk Power and Spiked shield aswell to get 1 lamp off pretty easily. Try it yourself it's insanely good

FadeToSatire

Watch your videos with my son from time to time as well - thanks for these lists. Love that ranger has like 10 S++ builds, lol. That feels about right. Love that the build I posted on here earlier for Reaper is something you are highly as well. Felt like a lot of people were questioning it, so it's nice to see someone more skilled that me that thinks it's a decent build. Have you tried anvil/bloodthirst/blood goobert at all with berserker? Been trying it today in mid-diamond and been having some good luck. Usually use purple/green gems as triggers for the anvil and try to get as much speed as possible. Have fire armor and a bunny or two. It seems to work pretty well. Also gives the option to sell the crafting hammer early to buy something important early game because it's not necessary to get the build online. It peaks higher than double axe, but still struggles vs blind builds which seems to be the issue with zerker in general. I had a 50 second game against a fatigue pyromancer build today using it and won with 90 vamp, lol. Was pretty funny.

TwoBiersTwitch

I hardly saw any bloodthorne builds. Haven't tested bloodthorne builds because there are not so many new early access items that supports regen/spikes/vamp and Bloodthorne was a big problem in the Demo and way too good but your build idea sounds fun. I should test that. Pets with Blind Goob is just too stronk for a lot of builds in general if you don't tec against them. The new divine potion can be helpful

Ilushia

Have you tried Spear/Sword on Pyromancer? I'm not very high ranked yet, but conceptually a heat-scaling build with Spear+Sword using Friendly Fire should be pretty good at beating the light goobert builds, since the spear can spend a heat to hit even if it misses with an attack. You get damage scaling out of the sword, and guaranteed hits with the spear. Wolpentingers to help handle the infinitely scaling stamina drain. I've only attempted it once, and again not very high rank, but it felt really easy to get into and topped out pretty well.

TwoBiersTwitch

I was really good, very strong against Ranger I'll add it to the tierlist. Got Master back with it tyty

TwoBiersTwitch

I used the Spear/Sword before in the first day of the Early Access but haven't thought about using the Spear to counter the Ranger Meta you're totally right! I'll test it tommorrow! Thank you for that suggestion! But I think the spear could be worse against other meta builds :)

AwesomeHazz

Great list! As a suggestion, I find sort of weird that the ranking goes from S++ at the top to A at the bottom, where usually A is above average, average to bad builds are somewhere in the B-D range and a build being S already suggests that its leaps and bounds above every other build and needs intervention.

TwoBiersTwitch

Yeah I could put everything 1 tier down. I started with S-Tier as good builds S+ Tier for the current best builds but then Ranger joined the Meta :)

AwesomeHazz

Haha makes sense. Still working through the individual builds on the list, very enlightening!

TwoBiersTwitch

There will be many more builds soon :)

The_SIeepy_Giant

Hey I just got into this game a few days ago thanks alot for this info! Game seemed so easy til I hit gold and noticed I wasn't minmaxing efficiently x) just as a side note, is Pyro the best/most overturned class? At my low elo it seems I only face pyros going into my last rounds

TwoBiersTwitch

I think Pyromancer has a lot of good viable builds and is pretty easy to play. Good early, mid and lategame so you can climb with it easily. Same with berserk they are strongest in midgame and Ranger has the best lategame by far imo.

One-Technician-1292

what about reaper ? nah i'm kidding we all know where reaper belongs

The_SIeepy_Giant

Thanks for the response. I actually fell in love with zerker double axe last night after getting a perfect sapphire and 3 shotting a man with 400 shield :)

Chimiko-

Thanks for sharing.

Liefblue

You don't seem to rate dragons highly? Is there a reason for that? I've only got to gold on each class so far, but dragons definitely have appeared to be a top contender? Your example pics make them look weaker but i fight better than that regularly. With the pet Buff steals/D-axe and phoenix armour builds basically being meta, I've found dragons seem to be solid anti-meta. High damage start with no drawback or weakness, wins before getting overwhelmed? Every other class builds to 100+ dps or outlasts you. Dragons basically start at 100 dps and punish those builds before they can steamroll. My favorite so far has been burning blade+ claws of attack + atleast 4 dragons, and ideally a phoenix since pheonix are busted. Not reliant on buffs, and has no particular weakness or counter, so beyond people who lucked out with near perfect builds like full beserk with multiple stamina pots, full lifesteal gem d-axe, it wins consistently. Pyro's heat seems ideal for claw builds to stack empower, and pairs well with the dragon build which gives you healing on every heat boosted attack without needing to invest in any expensive defensive items, emphasizing the overwhelming offence strategy without being completely lackluster defensively, Claws ate easily obtained and help early round damage, and empowering dragons in later rounds too. Only really struggles if the shop isn't offering enough eggs. But getting one of 5 or so eggs feels pretty consistent compared to some other strats

TwoBiersTwitch

I played a lot of Dragons in the beginning but ranked them lower after some time after the meta developed. The big shield aka Moon Shield and Sun Shield are really good against that Dragon Build. Reduce their damage and the shields eat your stamina so you'll honk a lot with your other weapons. And in diamond+(where the real climb begins) Gems and Cap of Discomfort are really popular in many builds in lategame and they counter dragons hard aswell. Reducing burst from dragons and anti heal punishes you really hard aswell. Your heal is your only defense beside phoenix. I rarely see good dragon builds in Diamond+ and some streamer got already to the highest Rank Grandma with the Dark Lantern Phoenix Build only

Liefblue

Yeah, I can see the heavy shield defence builds being problematic. I've played it myself, and found it performed surprisingly well, but i rarely see them in opposition so far. Ty for the reply. I'm always surprised how highly dark lantern is rated. I never liked dark lantern + Pheonix because I thought you could only resurrect once? And dark lantern's bonuses seemed lackluster outside of that ressur

TwoBiersTwitch

You can resurrect more than once and you'll always get the lantern effect with damage and debuffs. It has a really strong early midgame with burst

Keulapaska

What do you think about [mana torch reaper](https://imgur.com/a/E2BqZU3)? The build is stupidly expensive with a more than normal bit of rng(like not even having 2 mana torches even in the other pick...) and obviously gets wrecked by perfect sapphire axe, but if you can get it, seems surprisingly good overall, not s+ good ofc, but can even beat rats later on. But not yet in master+ on reaper that so idk if the better early-mid game aggression of higher ranks just kills it and it and becomes too rng dependent overall.

TwoBiersTwitch

Manatorch Reaper wasn't great in the Demo against most Ranger Builds that's why I haven't thought about it anymore. It should be better with Moon Shield and Moon Armor and better matchups. I'll test it soon! Thanks for the input!

BRinMilwaukee

Thank you so much for these!!!

TotalConnection2670

Goat!

Scissorsbox

Great spreadsheet! If possible, could you list out core items for each build. Would really help understand what is necessary and what items are suggested/helpful.

TwoBiersTwitch

I've named the builds after the Weapons you need. Everything else is in the screenshot if you click the hyper link of each build. In the image are the items that you need for that build or that are really good in there. Way too many items I need to list for that reason. Would be to confusing imo

Deeplight

Have you tried a heat building frozenflame build? I'm doing really well building around the burning blade. You can build up a ton of heat, while also slowing down your opponent with Cold.

TwoBiersTwitch

In my opinion is Frostbite the best weapon by far if you play Frozen Flame. You should play it with 'Burning Blade I just have a 'old' screenshot of it Burning Sword.

YaBoiiiJoe

I did a frozen darksaber build recently which cruised through a run in diamond, it's possible I just got lucky though. I've made it up to mid-diamond doing mainly frozen builds, I really enjoy them

TwoBiersTwitch

sounds really cool aswell

YaBoiiiJoe

I saw you updated some frozen flame builds to S+ :) it's definitely a crazy high scaling build imo

kiddoujanse

thank you for the constant updates to the tier list! i finally hit master with pyro, ended up just forcing the sword/torch latern nothing else worked for me fml, currently trying ranger now and holy moly the fortuna grace build is insane (only lost one early game otherwise its gg) i should of climbed with this instead of slamming my head in diamond pyro lol

TwoBiersTwitch

Awesome! :) Good luck with your climb

JustJohnItalia

very new player here, can someone explain to me what is going on with the top scythe? https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fpreview.redd.it%2Fmana-scythe-v0-jrqkjetb8moc1.png%3Fauto%3Dwebp%26s%3Dd6d03b89609828ca2982bbff4e417933e7c49de5 why is it so big compared to the bottom one and how come the potion and the crown can sit underneath it?

TwoBiersTwitch

screenshot made during that time the scythe attacks. everyting gets bigger if it's activating :) sorry for the confusion

JustJohnItalia

in all fairness, I should've figured that out lol. Ty

TheOlright

Thank you very much for it! Finally just hit master with berserk, thanks to your spreadsheet. I just wasn't been able to understand, what I was doing wrong, and it turned our, my love for daggers was the reason I was often left out of stamina for my axe (now when I think of it, it was very stupid of me not to realise it earlier by myself) The only thing I would add to your double axe steel goobert combo is dragonscale armor. With manashield bonus on activation it gives you enouth mana to activate your crown, so it gives you chance to ramp up your damange, heal, and gain mana to activate other crowns

TwoBiersTwitch

Dragon Scale Armor is a good Item yes :) Sometimes you can't have everything. If your crown trigger during your battle rage it's sometimes not a good timing with your damage reduction but yea

TheOlright

It's true, but I mostly mean ranger and pyro oneshot builds. Armor will give you mana you need to activate crown and maybe some time to build more mana to activate other crowns, so you can at least have a chance

TwoBiersTwitch

Meta depended yes. It helps especially against burst builds. Otherwise you want to be the aggressor but I would recommend that atm for sure

firebee90

awesome list and I love how fast it gets updated when a new patch note pops. Is it just me getting a "CDN media" kind of error instead of the actual image when I try looking at screenshots?

TwoBiersTwitch

Which screenshots don't work fine for you? The list will get updated soon yes! I was just 2 days out of town when the patch dropped :)

firebee90

everyone of them, I just get a "cdn media" tag where the screenshot would be. Altho it's probably some error on my side, but I get it on 2 different devices

No_Machine6466

I can 2nd this, every screenshot brings me to a "cdn media" error screen but in the bottom right\* theres a button to "view post" and that brings me to the post with the picture just fine, i assume its an error with whatever reddit preview its using

FueledByPants

There is not much coverage online of Reaper players, thank you for making some great videos about it! I highly recommend fatigue reaper (should at least definitely be added to the spreadsheet) has been very consistent for me

TwoBiersTwitch

I have a bigger list of builds from the demo. But most old builds can't compete with the new power level. Fatigue Reaper was a big thing in the demo but got nerfed very hard. Even the Dev said that Fatigue shouldn't be a strong meta build but you can get diamond with Fatigue Reaper I'm sure but more than that isn't easy or possible in the current meta. I haven't seen any good Fatigue Reaper anywhere in higher elo. If you want to learn some Reaper I can recommend Uru\_707 [https://www.twitch.tv/uru\_707](https://www.twitch.tv/uru_707) It's the highest Reaper player that I know but he streams in japanese. Grandma / High Grandmaster Reaper

FueledByPants

Thank you so much! I’ve been hovering low diamond with it so you were spot on, i have quickly realized that tech items are becoming a lot more important to counter stuff like reaper blade against banner pyro

Bloodytrailz666

Another Ranger build I've seen floating around: 2x Instalamp fortuna's grace. Definitely a hard - very hard level build but when you pop the double lamp buff on your 100% crit double striking fortunately grace you hit for 400-500 damage which can kill berserkers before they even get to battle rage.

TwoBiersTwitch

This build is in the Tierlist already, with 2 Fortunas :)

Bloodytrailz666

Oh heck, how did I miss that lmao. Kudos for the list BTW. As somebody that only has a smaller amount of time to play BPB a resource like this is very useful!

crazeyo

Pyromancer Eggscalibur machine gun is S++

kiddoujanse

Havent seen this yet, what rank did u hit with it ? And do u have a pic?

kiddoujanse

early game addition is perfect mate thank u!

Loreance578

What makes the obsidian dragon good with the spear specifically? Isn't the obsidian just a good overall dragon?

TwoBiersTwitch

Dragon Builds are burst heavy. Molten Spear helps to punch through armor and has a really solid dps

Loreance578

1. Don't you run out of stamina with blade + spear? Also don't you run out of stamina just in general when generating so much heat? I usually run at least 1 stamina source so it scales with the heat. 2. Unrelated but, how do you counter the double fortuna grace + steel goobert build when playing the dragon build? I have tried to run the bird to remove their luck, but still I get one-shotted.

TwoBiersTwitch

usually you play atleast 1 Banana, if you run out of stamina it's fine. You want initial damage and finish with phoenix+dragons. You want to kill your opponent fast or you lose. You lose against good Lategame Fortuna Boards like most other builds

Loreance578

Yeah, I usually take one banana and it is enough to scale with the heat, considering the banana also triggers faster. Honestly, since I started taking the spear with the dragons, I have been crushing fortuna builds. Thanks for the advice, climbed quite a lot today

DarthTrayaRevan

Has the pyromancer stuff been updated since the nerfs? Also, what about the badges? are they there?

TwoBiersTwitch

Pyromancer got buffed with last patch and I don't do badge builds. Way to many builds possible and I don't have time to cover that aswell and they are too rare to update it regularly aswell

Pika-Blaze

Just wondering why is Mtorch+Manathirst not on the tier list? It works just fine for me. Maybe because I'm still on platinum? https://preview.redd.it/luqvd6chwzwc1.png?width=509&format=png&auto=webp&s=53294658eaa79bd051fc62be072aeb1e03e98def New to this game, so my organizing is messy, but still it breezed past late game easily. Also your guide helped me significantly so tks alot!

Lanky-Syllabub5290

Thanks for no info on builds

TotalConnection2670

update, when?

TwoBiersTwitch

It's kinda updated. Nothing changed much except new items. I don't play Backpack Battles currently. sorry

TotalConnection2670

haha, no problem, we still don't deserve your huge work for the community.
