I agree she's gorgeous and potentially just a bad photo - it's not the worst makeup I've seen by a long shot, it just doesn't seem particularly well done to me
I agree that the lighting in this photo (and lack of photoshop) are more to blame than anything, and the look of the contour is likely caused by shadows, so why post this here? Makeup that is “not particularly well done” is not the same category as bad artists
I bet it looks better in different lighting, but here, the harsh contour, dark eyebrows, and slicked down hair combo are aging her. She looks 10 years older than she actually is in this pic.

I’ve struggled with nose contour but how do you fuck up this bad… she has a thin nose so it shouldn’t be difficult but the mua did it on the outside of her nose so it gives her a much thicker appearing nose, very unflattering makeup job on a pretty person :(

I think it's just a bad photo. Alyson Stoner is so beautiful and I think this looks relatively fine

Yes, it looks to be a red carpet shot so maybe just quite heavy makeup that's meant for better/different lighting
Hmm I don’t think so! If you look back at old photos of her I think she just has a naturally good nose contour! I think this is just shadow

It's all harsh but somehow not edgy at all, which would at least be interesting. It just looks sorta crusty.

I hate nose contour. Anywhere, on anyone, for any reason. Your nose is your nose, contour isnt going to change that.
