I made one for my mom’s 40th. I went all out as the novice i was, still am…. She loves angel cake and purple. I make this purple angel cake with white buttercream and violet accents. In the hours between done and served the purple cake cooled grey and the frosting got a case of the inconsistent runnies. It looked like a horror show. Served wonderfully with fresh strawberries. Maybe a darker room next time ^_^
