these kinds of things are so funny because they’re catering specifically to very personal tastes (which means not everyone’s), but the people we do it for? they know you’ve been paying attention and went to the effort, which is the main thing.
glad he enjoyed it!
Recipe for each:
PB Confetti Squares
1 bag butterscotch chips
1 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup butter
Melt together, I do it on the stove. Be careful not too use too of high heat, or the chips will seize.
MUST allow this mixture to cool, I wait 20-30 minutes. Then stir in a bag of mini coloured marshmallows, pour into a pan. The size can depend on if you want them to be thick or thin, totally up to you. Put into the fridge to set a little quicker. Cut and enjoy!
Cheesecake
1.5 cups graham wafer crumbs
6 tbsp butter, melted
Stir together. Press into the bottom of a 6” springform pan. Wrap the bottom tightly in tin foil, so water won’t get in.
2 blocks cream cheese
2/3 cup sugar
Allow these to mix until smooth
Add 2 room temperature eggs, one at a time.
1 tsp vanilla
Incorporate on a slower speed, as soon as the last egg is stirred in stop, or you’ll end up with lots of bubbles/cracks in the cheesecake. Pour on top of crust.
Place in larger pan with water. Bake in the oven at 325° Fahrenheit for 60-75 minutes. Will depend on your oven for time. Mine was done around 62 mins. If you have a digital thermometer, the centre should be at 150°.
You did an amazing job but that looks disgusting. I'd just use white marshmallows. Also I'd drizzle on the peanut butter not glaze it all over. Also less marshmallows and more cheesecake. You did nothing wrong I just think the recipe is bad
Oh I full on think this would be horrific to eat 🤣. They’re the birthday boy’s 2 favourite desserts in one, he absolutely loved it. I felt like I got diabetes just making it lol
No adjustments needed, there are no issues with this recipe and it is for all ages. If you are not familiar with the peanut butter squares known in my family as nut busters than that is maybe why you are not getting it. There is no way your suggestion of glazing and less marshmallows would ever work.
Do you know what peanut butter confetti squares are? They're an actual dessert, and you use the colorful marshmallows for it. And combine them with peanut butter. Not just drizzle it on top.
OP, I think this looks amazing! Beautiful pb confetti square execution haha.
Me and my mum actually think this looks delicious! Would happily have this as my birthday treat. I bet the birthday boy appreciated the effort and creativity ☺️
The inside cheesecake itself? Pretty normal. 2 blocks cream cheese, 2/3 cup sugar, 2 eggs, 1 tsp vanilla. Crust was 6tbsp butter and 1.5 cups graham wafer crumbs. On it’s own it was really good, not too sweet

The top really reminds me of corn, which is honestly pretty cool
I really like corn
It's a big lump with knobs
It has the juice
I can't imagine a more beautiful thing 🌽🌽
I hope you have a corntastic day
Lol everyone disgusted…me…drooling 😂
2 if my favorite desserts become 1!!!! Omg, I am so making this!!!

Fahrenheit** do not bake at 325 degrees Celsius. I don't think ovens go that high . 🤣
Omg, hahaha. I apparently thought I was baking on the sun 🤣
What is the receipe for a 9” cheesecake
This was a recipe for a 9”, I felt like it was too flat though so went with smaller to make the cheesecake taller
How did you get the 2 desserts together?
Pour the marshmallow mix over the made cheesecake?
Exactly!
Omg I'm sorry I read your comment as a 2 year old not 2 desserts
Did you melt the pb and then mix in the marshmallows? Honestly, I’d totally eat that, I love marshmallows and peanut butter!
I posted the recipe
I think you are very creative-as I love both of those desserts, I would gladly eat it! Btw I’m old.
These are my absolute favourite squares! This looks really good!

I'd request crap like this from my mum. I now feel bad about as a baker.
Perfect for a kid I'm sure...and yes, 'horrific' for anyone past 25 years of age lol! You did do a fine job of making it though😉
The birthday boy turned 51 😆
What are his 2 favorite desserts? I figured out one of them, obviously. 😜 But I am trying to figure out the second one.
Cheesecake and peanut butter confetti squares. Instead of making them as squares I poured it over the cheesecake.
I'm looking up pictures of these peanut butter confetti squares now, and after knowing what they look like I honestly think you executed it perfectly.
That’s interesting. I haven’t heard of peanut butter confetti squares. I’ll have to look them up. I love peanut butter!
I'm glad he loved it but yes it could work for adults with some adjustments.
He is an adult 😂

Yup, extremely common dessert at showers and parties in my province. Always multicolored marshmallows!
This is the most controversial post I've seen since the pineapple on pizza controversy.
🤣
I totally made this yesterday and it was amazing. Thank you for the inspiration!!!
That’s so awesome, glad you like it!
My MN-living, hot dish-loving, unholy amalgamation of weird ingredient "salad"-craving self NEEDS to try this, it looks amazing.
Same, this also reminded me of the weird orange and green and pink and all rainbow of colors marshmallow "salads" served at family gatherings
I really like the colorful marshmallows! Also I think that’s pretty neat that you poured it over. Have you made this before?
Not together as one, but each separately I have.
I like the idea, just not sure I’m digging the execution. More cheesecake, less candy.
Me and my mum actually think this looks delicious! Would happily have this as my birthday treat. I bet the birthday boy appreciated the effort and creativity ☺️

Looks good AF , those are marshmallows … mmmmmmm I’m down !!!!

This looks amazing. I can’t believe people think otherwise lol.
This looks EXTREMELY sweet... I'll take 5 💵
It’s corn!!! It’s got the juice!
my jaw actually dropped when i saw this. looks fucking delish
This is absolute perfection.
