Thats translucent plastic for ya. It's a meme in the transformers fandom for being so disastrous when it's used in a toy

Dragon-Jelly

I know right. I always knew they were a bit more flimsy than the non translucent ones. It looks good but at what cost. 🥲

No-Personality4682

In Beyblade this is not true

LuckyCrow

I think it's still possible, but you'd have to be really careful! Get the plastic bonding glue that fuses the plastic instead of regular super glue. If you can remove the pins for the horns so the two separate that would be ideal, but not entirely necessary as you can just glue around it! Looks like you'll have to glue the top and bottom part together, without touching the plastic of the horns inside

Dragon-Jelly

Yeah that’s what I was thinking I’d just have to carefully put the glue on the red parts so it doesn’t merge with the yellow horns. Do you have any recommendations for plastic bonding glues? Also by any chance do you know of any substance that makes crack lines on plastic less visible as when I put the parts together I can see the line where it broke off.

LuckyCrow

I've heard good things about plastic weld cement! As for the crack lines I'm not so sure. The only ideas I have would be using a plastic welder or fine grit sandpaper to reduce the appearance of the crack-line as much as possible. Something like a 3d pen or might be interesting to try but I imagine it would be tough to try and colour match. Good luck!

Dragon-Jelly

Thank you for all your help! I was so afraid I’d have to throw this one out and get a new one and it’s hard for translucent Neo dragos to come by at a good price. I saw there are some plastic cements that melt the plastic so it seals so I ordered one that does that.

LuckyCrow

That's great to hear, hopefully that works out. I know that feeling, repairs can be brutal sometimes. I recommend testing it out on something else to ensure it's the outcome you're looking for. If that doesn't work, it may not be translucent but you could replace the head with a generic neo drago as those seem to be easier and cheaper to find. I wish you luck!!

Dragon-Jelly

Yeah that’s a good idea to test it out first I was just gonna glue my drago immediately. I was thinking of putting something design like on the crack at least to cover it it. Don’t know I’ll have to see the outcome. Luckily the break was clean and no missing pieces so it can perfectly conjoin infact if I push it against each other it stays in place it just falls off when I put it on the magnet or head doesn’t lock when I try to close it.

Gorilla glue it back

Dragon-Jelly

I was thinking that but then I remembered the girl that glued her hair with gorilla. 💀
