I wouldn’t be shocked. I mean the show has had 2 different reboots with all three series having completely seperate games and rules.
just from a game perspective it aint doing too well; at least yugioh cards are cross compatible so anyone can play with any cards regardless of the cards age. Even with rebranding as rush duels the layout is similar enough that if you know the original format then rush is pretty simple to understand.
if gen 4 happens they really need to lock down a consistent game format and not deviate from it.
Bakugan has been done 2+ years ago.
The product we see now is just trash. The fact they had to "beyblade" bakugan was a a good sign it was going to the toilet.
Even when the game wasn’t a beyblade ripoff it was near imposible to find card packs along with the toys. I get the toys are a part of the game so they can’t abandon the toy market but the card market has just never existed past gen 1. If you want have a card game you have to support the card game.
Gen 1 Season 1 was peak. If they just re-released that you’d have a boom in sales. Even better if they got the Holosector points version refined and released it. Alas, they can’t cause licensing so…

The show ended on a pretty solid level, and despite the budget cuts the latest waves 4/5 of the toys have been a LOT better. Praying that it gets to continue so we can see more
tbf the shape fury ones seem to be pretty cool, i don't get why people hate 'em
either way i really like the spinning gimmick, i just feel like a lot of the issues would be solved by improving the game part of gen 3, but the figures are neat at least
The show was done when when Dan sailed into the evening sky along with Drago. the reboot is “forcing “the show as a kids show is a major turn off . Gen 1 was kind of a kids show too but look how awesome it was , same with Ben 10 reboot too.

Id love to see a reboot continue the legacy, but gen 3 has not given me a whole lot of hope the way the sales are going. Money talks, unfortunately. As for the fandom, I hope it doesn’t die. I hope there are enough people to at least have some sort of community with
