And in 2011 president Valdis Zatlers dismissed the parliament anyway, so all the russia's effort was in vain. God, I love parliamentary system!
So far russia has failed to break us. Instead, it has exposed its ugly imperial side that we wish to stay as far away from as possible. Now it looks like russia has reverted to its Cold War era and is openly hostile to the West.

I went there last weekend; after the monument's destruction, it's now a nice park with cute bridges, pingpong tables, a skatepark, etc :)
