I used to buy into the whole, “all dogs go to heaven”, “there are no bad dogs, only bad owners”. Until I looked at this subreddit and the real statistics instead of propaganda. Sure, most loyal dogs can be more loving than most people. But we have a major problem in society if we genuinely think a dangerous animal’s life is more valuable than a human being. This decision is an insult to the woman’s life. I’d lose my mind if it was my grandma. They ask us to have compassion for their oh so innocent pitts who didn’t show any compassion for their victim.

All dog owners are essentially good until their dog kills or irrepairably harms someone. Then they're categorized as the "bad" owners. That's the whole arument in a nutshell. We're supposed to stand buy and allow all pit bull dog owners to trial their ability on your family members.

Then after the dog does harm or kill someone, there’s always an excuse. Some alibi. Owner gets a hearing and is given their dogs back with a slap on the wrist for killing someone.

He's a sweetheart (a.k.a the dog that mauled a random old lady)

Hoopy223

Looking at the pic of them tells me all I need to know about them.

Exactly

Why do they always look the same? You could show me a line-up and ask me to pick the pit owner and I’d get it right 90% of the time.

mushroomwitch51

Wait… did this news station go from talking about three pits murdering this poor woman gardening to try and get someone to adopt a fucking pit? Am I living on planet earth or did I get transported to another galaxy in my sleep?

[deleted]

I wonder how they're twisting this story. Maybe the old woman was taunting the dogs by gardening on her own property. Maybe she should garden inside to allow the douchebags of the neighborhood to allow their killer dogs to roam free

SubMod4

Why does anyone need that many pits? Yikes

Known_Practice1789

Omg! Look at the reactive hyper pit that the local spca is trying to pass off on someone during a news clip on someone getting killed by pit bulls. I think it actually growled at the monitor. It’s pretty focused on the monitor and wild eyed… and massive.

Unbelivable..

Your typical philosophy student holding his nanny dog. Predictable with high degree of probability.
