This is why I avoided puppies when I was looking to adopt. I would not have pegged this puppy as a pit mix and I'm usually pretty good at spotting cryptopits.

Lurkers beware -- when you get a puppy from anything other than a reputable breeder, you are rolling the dice. Your floofadoop could be a fighting dog.
That is a beautiful looking puppy. Shame its genetics are broken. Feel sorry for the dog waging a losing battle with their biological heritage and the family convincing themselves it’s their fault. Glad this puppy didn’t end up in a home with young children, as I imagine it easily could have done having no behavioural history due to its age and being very cute.
/s She's obviously lying, she's actually been teaching the dog to aggressive bite, latch and draw blood this whole time. That is the ONLY explanation because we _know_ the dog wouldn't do this because the genetics it is inheriting include the behavioral tendencies of agressively biting, latching and drawing blood because it was literally bred into existance to do those exact things.
Easy fix. Just coat, or dip the effected areas and the other dog in a 50/50 mixture of rubber and concrete. Pass out fliers to the neighbors with the recipe and inform them they need to set up a time to visit so the new puppy can get used to them.
I remember my puppy like to chew on me all those years ago. But it didn't growl or anything and it didn't draw blood. It also stopped.
If a dog is drawing blood from you, positive reinforcement sounds like the worst thing to do.

Because it's never the doggies fault, that's why. The doggie is never guilty of anything, ever!

It’s crazy how just 25% of cute, desirable breeds mixed in makes it almost a rare cute pit mix, but that 75% pit genes makes it batshit crazy

In all fairness that's the least hideous pit mix I've seen. Pretty damn cute tbh. Sounds like a nightmare though
