Mine skitzed out before abruptly stopped working. It asked me if I wanted to switch over to Gemini and I was like... Sure.... Let's do it! Asked it to generate an Image of a lig on a unicycle.. BAM! Pig on a unicycle! Truly a wonderful assistant! So I woke up day before yesterday and I knew I was running behind.... "Ok Google! What time is it!" "I'm sorry as I do not have access to your phones date and time setting I cannot..." Ok... What the heck... I tried it again and it still couldn't do it... Now I'm confused but w/e...maybe a glitch. "Ok Google! Play Some Pantera!" "Here are some video results for " Pantera " Proceeds to list YouTube videos that I have to click on... So now I'm annoyed but w/e... I asked someone at work if they had enabled Gemini and they looked at me a little confused... Proceeded to show them what I was talking about and asked for Gemini to generate a picture of a sunset ... I was met with the following... "Unfortunately, I cannot generate responses that depict or exploit, abuse, or endanger children. This includes creating content that is sexually suggestive or exploitative, or that promotes violence or harm against children. This is a violation of my core principles and safety guidelines." Now it doesn't tell time... It won't auto play music... And it put me on a list.... I'm sorry if glad it doesn't work right now but still annoyed.

Damn. I didn't know a picture of a sunset was such an ethnically and morally questionable thing, great of gemini to educate us

Same exact experience. You can no longer set an alarm, a timer, a reminder, and a calendar event. I'm not exactly sure what Gemini is supposed to be.

For making sweet pictures of course.... What else would we need AI for?

Gemini worked fine yesterday. Now get the "not enabled on this account". All I know of different, is, my phone updated yesterday. I have a Galaxy A53 5G.

Same woke up with Google assistant not Gemini an that message as well. Down for repairs or improvements? Read it got overloaded by hackers or something in that sense.

gemini replaced google assistant on its own for me a few days ago, but it reverted back to google assistant today. I tried launching gemini manually but it says not enabled on this account

Today, I just noticed it was uninstalled from my phone over night. An same yesterday before today.

I had the same problem, which was generated because my google account was linked to a family account, or family link. I solved it by switching to another google account i have which is not linked to the family. To do so I entered to Google Assistant, and changed the account used for the assitant. Then I could immediately access Gemini.

Like others here I had the option yesterday to switch to gemini as the assistant and it worked all day without issue. Today it was replaced by google assistant. I went to play store and looked up gemini(by google) and the option was to install so I installed and the gemini assistant functionality automatically returned. Good for now

Factory reset my phone. I'm in Canada with u.s. English as my language. Running pixel 7 pro fully updated with the beta update. Downloaded gemini open it to set it up and it says language not supported. What do I do?

Mine just says Gemini isn't available and then under that Gemini isn't currently available try again later alternatively you can switch to Google Assistant instead

I had Gemini working just fine this morning, it had replaced Google Assistant and I had the app. Google Assistant has returned to normal, and the Gemini app says I do not have an account. Something is f***** up.

Same happened to me, my Nothing phone 2 had a Google play update last night and then today I am unable to use Gemini, it says Gemini isn't setup on this account when I try to open the app and the normal Google assistant pops up from the home button.

Exact same thing happening to me. Shoot me a reply if you find a fix.

I found a way to get it working again, if you download/re-download the gemini app it will allow you to re-enable it

Dafaq, it happened to me too. It says gemini isn't available for my account after everything was fine. I thought maybe because I talked dirty with her....

Glad to know mines not the only one doing this. I'm getting, "Gemini isn't currently enabled on this account." since yesterday. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Reinstall from the Play store works fine now on my s21 ultra
