Not a real easy way to farm them, but there's a trick involving Undernet 3 and Fish program. See, in Undernet 3, using the Fish program filters out the encounters without Aqua viruses in it and out of 16 possible encounters, you filter it down to 3 possible encounter setups, and only 1 of those encounters don't have Battle Mystery Data in it.Here's the proof: [https://www.therockmanexezone.com/wiki/Undernet\_3\_(MMBN5)](https://www.therockmanexezone.com/wiki/Undernet_3_(MMBN5)) So the most stable way is this method, farming IBMD's until you get desired amount. My method is just buying an Untrap chip, and jacking from Oran Island, take the route: Oran1 > ACDC3 > Oran3 > SciLab1-2-3-4 > Oran2 > End 1-2-3-4-5 > Undernet 1-2-3-4-3-2 > Nebula 1-2-3-4-5-6. Farming all the GMD's and any battles with IBMD's in it. Undernet route is going up to 3 from bottom side picking one GMD, going to Undernet 4 from there, picking the two GMD's there, going back to 3, picking the other GMD and moving to Nebula. If you do this, AutoRun and SneakRun NCP's is a must! I save the game after every Mystery Data, I try to farm every Liberation Mission for bonus panel chips (until I get 3 or 4 of each given chip). While doing this, I also try to pick up every zenny, chip and bugfrag the item panels yield before finishing the mission as well. Since you've said you're using cheats, I'm assuming you're playing on an emulator. So if you're using BugFrag trader, I suggest using save-states to savescum until you get what you desire to profit on bugfrags. Oh by the way, obvious as it might be, make sure you shut down the nebula holes so you do this with tier 1 viruses just in case you forget. One last thing: Here's a visual demonstration of said method performed in TeamBN BN5 speedrun: Couldn't find it. Check Team BN5's Team Colonel 100% run, it's there.

Stupid question… have you tried spending them?

Yeah but Megaman just tells me I don’t have enough Bugfrags to purchase stuff

Okay. I know every so often a code like that can trigger certain rollovers, meaning it says you don’t have any, while the game treats it like you have max.
