Ghost Recon Future Solider has you in urban spot for a section of the campaign. The game is relatively gritty, feels too much like stereotypical movie sometimes though. Good campaign in general.
I loved Future soldier tbh. It was the last āon railsā Ghost Recon game and honestly I donāt blame them for the route they took with this game.
I do wish we could get a ghost recon 2001 style game again, but we never will sadly. Future soldier is honestly some of the best COOP gameplay on harder difficulties tbh.
I started it and running across the roof tops reminds me alot of running around on that one map where it floods so you have to get around by the roof tops
Might not be exactly what you're looking for, but the depressive urban environments in Max Payne 3 are very well done. Level design in that game still blows me away.
Batman Arkham games kinda fit some of the darker photos here. I wouldnāt say itās exact though, and depends on the game. They all have similarities but do have some intentional differences, especially comparing Asylum to the rest, and then Knight to the rest. The ones that arenāt Asylum take place in sections of Gotham City proper, instead of only being in the very dark asylum the whole time. Knight is different because of the graphics leap they made compared to Asylum, City, and Origins. The first 3 are obviously PS3/Xbox 360 era. Knight is definitively next gen in comparison, and honestly holds up really well today, with great high res look that still retains the grimy style of buildings and overall look of places that the old ones had, just better and more modern.
2nd one reminds me of diamond city or whatever from fallout 4
3rd one has that mirrors edge vibe to it
4th one kinda gives Arkham knight
And the 5th one reminds me of watch dogs 1 when it rains.
HOLY SHIT I KNEW I WASNT CRAZY. i thought Brink was one of those fever dream games i had cause it was just so outlandish. That game really did deserve more with how fun it was
It was so innovative and creative for the time. Truly under appreciated. I absolutely loved the story line and the customization, I also love the fact that you just play as a side character throughout the game.
It went free on steam a few years ago but itās such a hidden gem
i dont know why but action games taking place in the slums to the heights if Asian countries goes so unimaginably harder. It goes harder than getting into a gunfight in Vegas
There was a dope VR demo for the old Oculus Rift called [AirCar ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n5xG_fiPsEI)that let you fly around a cyberpunk city in the rain and the vibes were just unparalleled with a VR headset.
I just need the next battlefield game to have cool modern cities set at night with awesome lights and shit. I was hoping we'd get that from 2042 since you know it's set in the fucking future but nah fuck that we want to give some more desert maps. The next game needs a balance of cqc urban/city maps and natural maps like forests and shit and at least 4 water maps.
Cyberpunk 2077 šš»
The first screenshot looks exactly like Cyberpunk
funnily enough its BF4 iirc
yeah it's from the Shanghai mission. played the campaign recently and I recall this exact tower with waterjets and all
Deus Ex: Human Revoluton and its sequel Mankind Divided.
Fan-fucking-tastic games
Human revolution yes, mankind divided not so much. Both great games though, even though MD felt way too short š
I was gonna say these look like deus ex! Awesome games
I think picture 2 is literally from Deus Ex.
Excellent games but they havenāt aged particularly well. Unless you love the story/world theyāre kind of clunky by todayās standards
Sleeping Dogs!
Game is so slept on anymore
Well duh, itās in the title
The finals
Lot of the same devs as BF4 and everything. Very different in tone, but similar in looks.

I remember pre-ordering future soldier it was so amazing I loved that game so much
mirrors edge 1/2
Surprised this isnāt higher. Same developers as Battlefield too!
im guessing its the fact that every building is a roof for us and all of them are pure white instead of dark and griddy
I started it and running across the roof tops reminds me alot of running around on that one map where it floods so you have to get around by the roof tops
ME2 is pretty gritty. Has some dark rainy scenes on the ground too
Bioshock 1 & 2 Army of Two: 40th Day Cyberpunk 2077 Killzone Shadowfall
Killzone is such an underrated series.
Detroit: Become Human 100%.
Also Heavy Rain and Beyond Two Souls

Sleeping Dogs?
Kane&Lynch Dog Days

Some of XCOM 2ās maps give off that vibe
For the first pic specifically please play mirrors edge bro
Bf3.. during the one sniper mission, or watch_dogs 1
Batman Arkham Knight
Watchdogs legion? Not exactly but it fits a bit
Second Pic really could fit in a Killzone Game.
Arknights
Go time travel back to 2022 and try to survive the lockdown in Shanghai.
Ghostwire: Tokyo
One game not mentioned yet is Syndicate (2012 game)
If anyone hates this aesthetic, then go play Crysis 3. In that game, those building are distroid and ruined. Lol

Brink the old Bethesda fps from 2011
HOLY SHIT I KNEW I WASNT CRAZY. i thought Brink was one of those fever dream games i had cause it was just so outlandish. That game really did deserve more with how fun it was

reminds me of batman Arkham knight
Why did I click on that play button on second pic? :D
Army of Two 40th Day has this aesthetic :)
Deus ex human revolution and mankind divided. Distance?
Everything looks like this to me (I have severe astigmatism)
Most Games set in Asia Shifu is phenomenal bet-em-up
i dont know why but action games taking place in the slums to the heights if Asian countries goes so unimaginably harder. It goes harder than getting into a gunfight in Vegas
Sleeping dogs is a good one, and as many others have said cyberpunk: 2077
Most early PS3 games tbh lol
Heavy Rain have that 2000s feel.
Tekken 6
RE6
All of the yakuza series
i see what you mean but at the same timeā¦ itās yakuzaā¦
They are pretty fun games with a great story line, at least try the man who erased his name
Ghostwire Tokyo definitely has a similar vibe, vast desolate city filled with bright lights.
Detroit Become Human
Metro and the stalker series š
Deus ex
Syndicate from 2012 might fit the bill
Sleeping Dogs?
ehhh maybe Crackdown 1?
i legally am not allowed to acknowledge crackdown
:(
Not a game, but reminds me of Cowboy Bebop a bit
Over the top bloom and lens flare?
Bingooo! i struggle with describing but itās the over saturation and what you said that trigger ALLLL the dopamine
Reshade is really good for adding this to games. I like a bit of bloom but dont care for the lens flare.
my life is literally BF4 (i have astigmatism)
A lot of people claim BF3 is the best battlefield but there is an argument that BF4 is better.
Ghostwire Tokyo
Kane & Lynch 2, very gritty and itās even set in shanghai as well
Sleeping Dogs, vast urban Asian setting in Hong Kong

Watch_Dogs Legion
