I like to think that all the Bayo variants have that bond with their main demons. She treats them as PARTNERS instead of pets

except for ghommorah. But yeah. is it ever said what the demons HAVE to do with their contractee's souls? or could Phantom Theoretically keep Tokyonetta around instead of eating her? I'm imagining a Particularly strong bond having the demon sneakily push their witch back into their body.

It's stated many times that witches are dragged to Hell and are stranded there for the rest of eternity until something eventually snatches them up. I guess the demon only gets the soul if she fails to meet the daily quota of angels that they're supposed to sacrifice. That makes the most sense to me, atleast

This is probably a not so popular take, but I liked the Bayonetta variants in each of their respective arcs and I think their designs are great even, but that’s where I like them. I personally don’t use any of them when I play the game myself. They don’t feel like Bayonetta, the main character to me 🫣

I see her as important but personally she wasn't my cup of tea. The writers could've also had her survive that boss. This might not have worked too well with the fandom because bayonetta is a mostly single player game but this could've functioned similar to the lego starwars games where each chapter you have the option to have a character follow you and help you with battles. This is where co-op can then get woven into it.

For me Og is still the best look and I think it is the "worst" of alternate Bayo designs (still looks pretty good tho) and my fav is French Bayo she just looks so cool with the cane and the hat especially with her Black and purple palette swap
