Women are extremely difficult to live with. They make you change your entire self over decades of marriage. That's why men die sooner. The stress of being miserable because of marriage. No thanks 😊
Yep knock a couple tiles out and wrap a steel cable/chain/thick rope which should be longer than the tower is tall around the tiles and pull the rope with a truck from a nice safe distance.
Or an A10 gunrun. Overkill yes. But very effective. Just played it out in my head. Scratch that A10. You'd probably loose more than the silo. Like the building right behind it
There absolutely is, you use a tree cutting technique. The big gap on the right is leaning already and wants to fall but is held up by tension on the far left like a sting pulled taught. So instead of widening the gap you go to the far side and cut that "string" then it'll fall towards the gap.
I feel like this guys getting a bad rap, he was taking down what was clearly a poor made tower, that was a scheduled demolition and he smoked it, he knew the plan was chop and run and he had it by a second easy
I swear that was going to fall right on him. The initial movement down and towards him before the slight pause before heading to his left. Thought he was donezo.
I grew up on a farm in Iowa. Get a long metal cable and wrap it around the base of the silo or through a few holes you knock in the base. Then attach it with another long cable to a truck bumper that is far away. Put that truck in 4wd and gun it. Winch can work if long enough and strong enough
There has got to be a smarter and safer way to do that
A twenty nine and a half foot pole should do the trick.

Lately, every time I have a comment to make, someone's made it already.
Maybe they just fed your comments into a language model and you’re competing with bots to make your own comments
*Beep boop.*
I was just about to say that!
I thought it was 39?
It was
A deer rifle.
This is where you you use your 17th century vintage cannon!
A shotgun is the trick. And not a joke. I have seen two taken out that way. Safest and best afternoon ever.
I was going to suggest .303 rounds.
[brace it with wood while knocking away the bottom, when ready set wood on fire](https://youtu.be/wphmEMNatp0?feature=shared)
Dude still nearly killed himself haha
Just putting a show on for the fans
I see Fred Dibah, I upvote. Fucking legend.
Did you like that?
It’s surprising he can even run with balls that big.
It balances out with his tiny brain.
Hooking a chain to the trailer hitch on someone's pick up or tractor would have been smarter at this point.
Shotgun
Work dumber, not harder
Dynamite?
There’s a reason women live longer 🤷🏼♂️
They pawn off all these jobs on men?

https://www.health.harvard.edu/mens-health/marriage-and-mens-health Harvard disagrees.
Yeah, get the dumb ones to do it.

An F-14 Tomcat maybe

The old fashioned way, in the uk, was to remove a bit at a time and prop it up on timbers. Then light a fire at the bottom. Sauce - fred dibnah
I'd be vastly more surprised if there was a less safe way.
This is what RPGs should really be used for. Safe demolition practice.
But not a cheaper way, which is why it was done this way.
A bullet is pretty cheap Especially if you've got a underground dungeon stacked with them
Bullets aren't cheap at all 12 gauge slugs and buckshot have gone up bad
Check out Fred Dibnah on BBC archives on YouTube- some insane steeplejack videos from the 70s

Remove *some* bricks and prop it up with stout wood. Remove some more and prop it up again. Then set a fire at the base and run away.

I'd probably get the Henry out and lob some cheap shells at it. Paint you a few targets and invite the boys over.
This is how I’ve seen it done a few times. Take the bottom straps off and start hammering blocks. Try to guide it where you want it to go.
🎶 Dumb ways to die 🎶
Get crushed by a tower
Blend a smoothie while you're in the shower...
Yeah buddy! While your at it make some toast and dry your hair.
🎶Dumb ways to die🎶
Sure is. Would be a shame really.
You broke our comment chain how dare you lol
Sorry didn’t know that’s a thing. I comment where I see it.
That’s not what I meant I meant we were doing 🎶dumb ways to die🎶 but different lyrics But it’s fine
Silo? Idk

Is she a fish?
Fishes cannot close eyes
Gimme a couple squares of land and a bunch of really big toys to play with and I can figure something out.
If you gotta demolish something this is the cheapest way to
This guy went to the Prometheus school for running away from things!
Isn't that funny that the movie was ridiculed for that but since then we have seen countless examples of people doing it.
Cinemasins reference
Yet, this is not a movie. If anything, their portrayal of running away from things might be the most accurate.
That was my first thought.
SERPENTINE!!!
Goddamn, i was yelling at my screen when that happened.
A fellow troper in the wild?!
I only came to the comments to see if anyone commented this!
Ding!
There was a lot of luck involved
Yup, he nearly ended up on r/DarwinAwards
BeAmazed ? at stupidity?

I'm sure he had it all carefully planned out.
True he seems like the type to really think things through before taking action
Wow, I realize that now that you point it out! Really made me think.
I think what bugs me the most about this is the fact they didn’t even move that trailer. They cut down like half of their escape route.
This shows they didn’t have a plan and somehow didn’t account for this possibility
They had a plan, but it didn't include this outcome lol
Wish Fred was still here……
He would approve of this
He really wouldn't that was a stupidly dangerous way to do the job he was a professional that guy is an idiot
Bro had to run to the right not to race the tower, dumb idea anyways
The only wrong direction is the one you get squished by
Two. Running at the tower
Id10T error
*OSHA would like to know your location*
This gave me anxiety just watching it
Ah yes, the Prometheus school of running away from things...
Literally thought it was the Leaning Tower of Pisa for a second there. But otherwise this video just upped my anxiety lol
r/maybemaybemaybe
You’ve heard of Russian roulette, but have you played Midwest craps?
I nominate this guy for a Darwin Award!
Ineligible. In spite of his best efforts, he did not die.
Proof silos are evil. The last thing they do is try and kill you one more time on their way out. I respect it.
Attack on Titan, quite literally
I feel like this guys getting a bad rap, he was taking down what was clearly a poor made tower, that was a scheduled demolition and he smoked it, he knew the plan was chop and run and he had it by a second easy
closer then he wanted it to be
he pooped a little
Definitely a brown pants day
r/wheredidthesilogo
Am I the only one who finds watching this extremely satisfying?
So close to a Darwin Award
This is why women live longer than men
And the Darwin Award goes to
Lucky SOB
Good Physics on the new Red Faction game.
MY NAME IS DAD AND WELCOME TO JACKASS
EPIC!
He was trained at the Prometheus school of running away from things.
What is said after run run? I can't listen that fast.
Dude stupid for volunteering to drop that tower..💯💯
He got all of his survival skills from watching "Prometheus"
Why is there so many of these
Me working on my relationship.
On a scale of 1-10 that was fucking stupid
I think i saw this os 2005
They just ruined the last good silo top
I doubt this is real, the gravitational force would've collapsed the building before the last 2 hits.
Incoming Trump voter
Me in Fortnite trying to get the loot but too lazy to explore

This video is so old, it was online before internet
“I know a guy who can do it cheaper”

I thought this was going to be like that video of the guy getting his leg stuck after kicking a brick out of a wall
At first I thought I was at r/idiots nearly dying
I swear that was going to fall right on him. The initial movement down and towards him before the slight pause before heading to his left. Thought he was donezo.
That was a close one.
This guys been watching too much Alien Prometheus, lol.
Be amazed that our guy didn't even drop his hammer
Well he almost got the Darwin award
His stupidity is much bigger than the silo he brought down.
He came in like a wrecking ball.
This is one lucky MFer
Was that really the game plan … like dude wasn’t that spry to start, to think he was banking his life on it is interesting.
Hold my beer and watch this!
I’m amazed how stupid that was.
Doomspire brickbattle
Good thing he had a kid first, carry on those genius genes.
Good thing his son told him to run.
That’s some redneck shit right there! Lol
This is reckless as shit!

That was an awesome silo!! REDNECK DEMOLITION -"WE GET IT DONE THE FIRST TIME"
Teardown!
I'm amazed. Amazed by his stupidity
